I don't check this site out often enough! I hate to ask a couple of stupid questions but here they go. Is there going to be a ride before or after the meet (I may have missed the details some where)? And, if so where is the starting and ending point? I'm always down for a ride especially something like hwy 17

 

Well, there will be convoys setup going to that location but once we get to the beach & have our little meet, we're going to have a group ride afterwords.

Update: I just left a message on the infiniti dealership owner's voice mail. He is out of town until Thursday. I should know weather we can use the parking lot by the end of the week.

Just found out today that I'll be moving to Omaha by August 21st, so I'm taking myself off the list. I'll still call and try to reserve the Infiniti dealership parking lot here in Monterey for you guys. As far as the Carmel Valley run after the meet, I'm sure that someone who has driven that route with me before can lead the run. Warren (WSchli1672) has been on it three times with me before, he should know the route by now, heh heh. I wish I could be there, damn!

Didn't think you were heading out so soon. It was a pleasure driving with you. Take good care and watch them rpm's.

 

Thanks Andy, I had a great time driving around with you and everyone else I drove with too. Hopefully one of these days real soon I'll be able to wrap that rpm needle all the way around to 8000, then I won't have to watch them rpm's too much. Take care and remember 160 on 101 is a ticket waiting to happen, heh heh heh.

 

Alright, today I talked to Tom, the owner of the MY______ gargantuan car dealership chain. He said that a lot of people have asked him for the use of that lot, but he can't let everyone use it, and that includes us. Sorry guys, I thought it was pretty much a given. There is a parking lot by the park, on the same side of Del Monte Blvd, but it isn't huge. Sorry guys.

My suggestion is to use it anyway. There isn't anyone that is ever there, the parking lot is always empty. Just a suggestion. Good luck guys and gals.

 

Dont give up hope yet on the infinity dealership in Monterey, we may have connections. Hope is still alive.

Hey Dave, it's too bad youre leaving so soon. Take care of yourself and be sure to keep it touch with me and warren via phone and email. Don't forget your computer. I want to get together again one last time with all of us including the crazy M5 and M3 guys. I'll get with warren and the other guys and let you know when we can get together.

Oh, by the way, I just got my JWT Street Clutch installed at Scott's Performance.

 

Damn...thanks for trying dbmtrx123. Hmm? Is there a plaza anywhere close to that location? One with a big lot?

Also, does someone have a route planned for the drive afterwards? I think I remember a few people mentioning they had a route they normally ran.

Here's a general itinerary so far...

Meet-up at main location (TBD): 11AM
Hang-out, Take Pictures, Eat, Beach: 11AM-2PM
Drive: 2PM-?

We can even have a mid-way stop on our drive somewhere to enjoy the view & take pics.
