Eric is right on. For those of you that run a business, you can probably attest to the droves of people that will ask for free advice or information with absolutely no intention of actually buying services from you.

If you take the time to go in and talk to him, he'll take the time to talk to you and answer all your questions.

Unfortunately, most people just want free phone advice and have no real intention (consciously or subconsciouly) of actually doing what they're asking about.

I emailed him with some questions and price quotes and calls me back a few hours later answering everything. So i finally set up a car tuned at ZCG. Im very satisfied with service and workmenship. Price was very competitive. Rob is a cool guy and so is guy who tuned my car too. I'll definitly go back to ZCG for all my Z work.

Just back from Florida Vacation (nice two weeks), saw this thread. Just to make it clear, Rob is a decent guy, I know him. So is the other shop. I know it too, as to the above info, I was at Robs on that quote and I do know the story per sei, as I know what was done and who did it and and by golly it was $300.00 less. I also know that Rob backs his work, but this other guy gave a 12 mo and 12,000 mile warranty on the job performed. I'll make that a "QUOTE". And for the peace of mind, the other quote on this thread, I know the person that had his engine replaced, as he is a friend of mind. Enough of both. Nobody should say anything bad about these two shops, they're both excellent as friends of mine know, i.e. Lou, Brian, JamesZ, etc. They guys use either Rob or the other shop. They both stand by their shops. I stand by both shops. I just don't stand by anybody putting another person or buisness down, so immature. Facts are facts, but don't hurt the reputation of good shops on a few little mistakes, just compare that to all the good jobs done by these shops and stand by the one you like. .02 worth for today.

I was at 9.5lbs of boost for a year and a half and had no issues with the engine going boom.

I will be getting a re-tune when Rob at Zcargarage has an opening to get my boost level up to 8 PSI.

My gas mileage didn't go down that much. On the trip computer it says 19.6 mpg and when I didn't have the supercharger it was 22 mpg. This is a mixture of freeway and city driving. I get about 285 miles with a full tank of gas.

Hmmm....you spent x amount of $$ on your own 350z. Now it looks like a Transformer. What's the point?

hmm..bad example there pal. I spend money on the custom widebody because I CAN and it is my toy. Shiet, i don't even drive that car anymore so wherether they look like shiet doesn't matter to me. Why? because i CAN AFFORD it and always pust the limit.

Here, people want more power so they go with SC or F/I. What the point of being so chicken and run at 5.2? DOH

to drifter23: it's just my curiousity on your 5.2 since 8psi still safe. Once you spend that much, get the most power out of it.

If it's worth anything, I had a brake job done at ZCar garage last year and I was extremely impressed with their service/price. What's paid off for them is that I'm set on using them as I plan to go F/I.

Can someone please PM me what prices they quoted for a vortech job? For the install and the actual product. Thanks.

Just call Rob at the shop and ask him to work up a quote for you. It is pretty simple...
