Nice meeting everyone.

Regarding times, well I'm just a tiny bit dissapointed, but for the first time out I guess it's alright.

My best was a 14.1@99 with 2.2 60 foot time, and it was on my last run when I got eliminated by red lighting it.

It was almost 100 degrees though and everyone was a bit off. No excuse though, I hope next time I'll see some 13's...

Had a great time talking to everyone!

Hey guys, I had a blast out there too... Was also fun seeing what the Altima would do... My times are as follows

14.9@90.1
15.1@93.1 (forgot to turn the TCS off)
14.7@93.8
...and a best of...
14.5@94.9

I broke out in the third and fourth run, but the guy I raced in the 3rd run also broke out, and I was closer, so I advanced... Then I broke out in the last run (dialed a 14.65)... Of course, I lost to a freakin 16.2 second Honda... figures...

Was also good meeting you guys... Hope to see you again soon!

I have a Gtech and I can hit 13.3 on the street. The Gtech is fairly accurate, but the street and the drag strip are two different things. I am usually in the 13.8 range at the track, but last night the best I could do was a 13.9 and all the rest were low 14.0-14.1.....one 14.5 when I coasted about 100 feet because I was so far ahead of the car I was racing and didn't want to break out.

Nice meeting everyone last night.

I can make mistakes with my 5AT and have. I guess if you just leave it in D your good. One thing I don't do is miss shifts though. Sometimes I shift too late/too early or start out in the wrong gate. No doubt it is easier than a 6MT though.

Come on out most people really enjoy it. Even the track guys get hooked when they find it is not just pinting it down the track and stepping on the gas.

In my experience with g-tech vs actual track times:
-The g-tech trap speed is ALWAYS higher than the strip by a few mph. This makes sense, as the strip times your last x-hundred feet and calculates the speed, while the g-tech knows your speed at the end of the 1/4 mile.
-The g-tech also seems to be more accurate above the 13s ET arena. When I ran the g-tech AT the strip, it'd be within a tenth or so, sometimes closer, until I started hitting 11s. The trap was still only a few mph off. Once I hit 11s, I'd see time differences of up to a 1/4s - usually the g-tech would show a faster time than actual, but it varied.

I hope to catch you guys out there one of these Wednesdays. I'll collect more g-tech data then, too.

BTW, this data is based on the original g-tech, which I've found to be MORE accurate than the 2nd-gen g-techs.
