Anyone going? there is plenty of rubber on the track from last weekends and next weekends Nationals. Should be able to hook up nicely.

At what should I get there? Last time I went to the wednesday night drags was about four years ago and on a Camaro Z28. I also dragged my ZX12R there...

I don't know how my Z will launch since it has no LSD.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it.

 

OK, I'm way off on the dates. I thought it was today.

Upon checking the schedule I realized today is the 2nd and there are no drags tonight.

Hopefully I can make it next week (8/9)

 

There are a couple guys in Z's without LSD and they just have to be more careful with their launches.

What do most stock Z's run at Infineon? I know it's a bit slower than other strips because of the incline...

 

I will be running BFG's this will only be my second time with them, I'm still trying to find the best tire pressure. I think I'm close at 18#.

Stock Z's usually run around 14.2-14-6. Slightly modded run into the 13's. I have done 13.8's with street tires, JWT and borla. (my Z weighs 3360# in racing trim....heavy!) A friend on this board has turned 13.4 with DR's, test pipes, JWT, Exhaust and Motodyne. It is bracket racing, so consistancy is what will win, not speed.

Infineon is slower than Sacramento.

Thanks for the info. It'll be good to hear the borla as I haven't heard many exuasts on Z's besides some of the clips. The clips sound way off IMO though. The only way is to hear them in person.

Looking forward to this as I haven't drag raced in a few years and can't wait to see what the Z will do.
