Default Share experiences with BATTLE VERSION Camber & Toe Arms / Kit. (PICS INCLUDED)

Share local experiences with BATTLE VERSION Camber & Toe Arms / Kit.

After purchasing a full coilover suspension system (not yet installed), I’ve been searching for the right Camber & Toe kit to maintain my alignment within spec.

I was impressed after reading about the Battle Version Camber & Toe Arms / Link / Kit.
Now I’m interest in finding personal (local) experiences with this product.
Likes and dislikes are welcome!

However I’m curious about...
- Are the Camber / Toe Arms noisy, under normal driving conditions?
- Any issues after long term driving?
- Any local shops specializing in suspension install and alignment under 1 roof?

I know what you mean! It’s tough going outside the beaten path to try something new, unless it gets the forum's approval.

Here is a better question:

Would you buy these camber & toe arms to correct your alignment?

You'd be suprised just how light the stock spring basket is without the springs. BTW.

I think I'm one of the very few people that have that whole kit and did the install myself. In fact I still have all me stock parts.

Ask your questions and I'll do my very best to answer.

Great! It's nice to hear from someone that actually has the Battle Version Camber & Toe kit!

So I take that you are very satified! Any noise issues directly related to the Battle Version under NORMAL driving conditions? (I say normal, because I don't mind noise if I was to track the Z)

I can honestly say that the difference in road noise is almost nothing. It get the happy wife/girlfriend seal of approval. In fact with my current battle version/buddy club setup she always states how so much smoother it is over how it was stock.
If you're just worried about the noise transfering to the inner cabin? You can relax a little. As fas has having a shop do the install for you? I'd say that just about any suspension shop can breeze through it. It's really not rocket science or anything. You might even be able to save yourself a few hundered bucks and do it your self. I take me Z to nissan for my alignments. I got the hook up. lol.

That’s great news!
Plus it’s comforting to know that your setup meets the Wife/GF seal of approval. For most of us, that’s the standard of quality we need to abide by.

However, I’m most concerned with a POTENTIAL squeaky setup, due to spherical bearing versus the urethane bushings this setup is replacing.

Any squeaks under NORMAL driving?

Nope. I was sure to use high preasure lithium grease on all metal to metal contact points of the rear suspension parts. For the Battle Version spherical bearing you don't need to lube them at all because they are teflon coated on the inside, however.... I did apply lube to the bolt shafts which just served as piece of mind on my part. Oh! BTW. Graphite oil lube is your friend when it come to adding a little insurance against noisey spherical bearings. Just a little bit of DIY fixes I discovered when I had to deal with other such systems on the past.

Well I've placed the order today, for the Battle Version Camber & Toe set.

I'll take pics of the product once I receive it. Following that, I'll post a review if anyone is interested.

post em when you get em in, Dew! I'm interested in adding more negative camber in the rears when the wheels get in!

I had these control arms custom made for me by Battle Version about 15 months ago. I am glad to see they are catching on now. People told me I was an idiot for doing this. I don't know which legnth rods he is shipping but I did run out of toe adjustment with my car lowered 1.5" in the rear. He shipped me new longer control arms and everything is working out. They have been installed 15 months now and I have no issues what so ever. I have the D2 coilovers and the Battle Version toe adjustable control arms and the camber arms.

So watch that you have enough of the heim rod end threaded into the arm to be safe with the toe set where you want it for your ride height. If not he will send you longer control arms if you ask.

Jet I've ordered the both the Camber & Toe arms. However I was not aware (or told) that I could choose a longer control arms.

Do you know what's the lenght of the longer version so that I can compare with what I have?

Who did you speak with about attaining the longer version? Because I purchased the Battle Version through "Option Imports".

I'll try to post pictures and measurements of what I have soon.
