Yeah, it shut down last year some time... the guy who owned the lease on the building kicked them out from what I hear.

There is another place now, called Lemans Karting ( http://www.lemanskarting.com/ )

You might check that place out, though I've never been.

Closer to SF is Gokart Racer in Burlingame but be warned, the seatbelt adjusters will scratch the back of your helmet (if you have one). Other than that, it's a cool place.

Lamans Karting actually does car club rates and has a car club series. So if you can get a group Z guys together, I think they charge $40 per compared to $55 for their practice/race session. Oh yeah, and no seat belts to scratch your helmet

I would strongly suggest the GOKKART RACER in burlingame.
More setup and more of a family environment. The go-carts are more safety oriented. The track is more of twisties & turns and offers 2 tracks and if your corp event is big enough, they'll combine the 2 tracks into one.
Where as the LEMANS go-cart is straights with a few turns here & there. The place isn't really top notch in my opinion. I've been to both & i prefer the Burlingame one as you'll see if you go to both.
