Default My new/old car!!! Datsun...

Picked her up last Sunday! Great condition for it's age from 1975, 280Z Datsun w/190K on the odo! Interior is great and body is good; but it's gonna get stripped and resprayed and probably reupholstered and motorswapped...yay for more projects to slow down the z33project!

This picture is odd because the photo was taken with a wideangle lense (Canon20D, blame it on my friend who took the shot)

sweeeeettttt..me and my dad went halfs on our 75 280z. if you have any question regarding it feel free to ask or PM me.

Mine gets 23 mpg on the 4 spd manuel, better then my z32, nothing beats no smog, $7 a month insurance and a Z that likes 87 octane over 89+....
Good luck with it and hope to roll with you someday.
My 280z at TI..

$1800, it was a steal! I couldn't say no to it...the condition was WELL "worth" IMO around 3-4K

Sleepy-Z, that s30 is amazing! yah my brother and I are splitting this car half and it's a fun project! I'm sure to come across many issues so I'll be sure to contact you! Hit me up when you go to any local datsun meets, I'm still new in that group of enthusiasts; I currently surf classiczcars and hybridz forums, i use the same SN as here

wow that's gonna be a good project, first things i'd do is get rid of those rims, but is the car at stock height? seems higher than normal..

don't worry, the car is getting stripped and prepped for rust removal and respray, then pretty much 99.99% of the car is gonna be replaced or rebuilt

....or go completely stock if you want it to be worth more resale wise. It is getting old enough now to be a classic and stock condition brings the highest value.

beautiful car. If you decide to get rid of it let me have first dibs. I had a 77 280Z, but I want something older. My ideal car would be a 1973 240Z (mybirth year).

Beautiful ride(s)......It never ceases to amaze me how the bodys styles still got that "hook". I'm in favor of keeping the original lines(stock or really close).

Anyone can buy my 1975 280z, not perfect but #'s matching motor to vin, no smog, $7 a month to insure as a classic.....its the pic above....$4k and its yours, starts everytime and just took me to Luguna Seca from Sac this weekend and back. 21mpg, burns a little oil every 500 miles or so but a 4spd MT(original) doing 65 the whole way should burn a little oil since it was built for 55mph speeds...........I can go on all day but I want what I payed, I may keep the wheels however.

No garage for it, I swap my Z's each few weeks and its half dads and he wants a 240z.....plus it would be nice to have a little extra money....I will only sell for $4k though, nothing less becuase I want to keep it but its a case of if I get the offer I will sell it.

Its not perfect, hood is fading slowly and roof is also, needs a good wet sand and the suspension rides like a caddy(bouncy) not a sports car but I sorta like that at times.

Nice. Ditch the huge bumpers and put 240 bumpers on. What are your plans for the motor?
