Default should we have a weekly meet?

I know the S2000 guys and other cars meet every friday night at the Boba place in Milpitas...in the same plaza as the Ranch 99 there. There's usually a big turnout every friday if the weather is good.

Should we have a weekly meet as well at a certain spot to grab some coffee or drinks or whatever? For us to kinda relax after a whole week of working and just chill for a bit?

Some other regions here also have a weekly GTG (get together) too.

what do you guys think?

subaru, s2k, evo guys meet up at the daly city starbucks in the evening one of the weekend nights. It's the one near circuit city and office depot. It has tons of parking as well at night.

well we should get more interest in here first, and we can decide on a location...

who would be down for this? No one is obligated to go EVERY week...just when you'd like to, and catch up on things with some local enthusiasts/friends.

where would be a central and ideal location for everyone? since most people here are from the bay area (I assume), somewhere in the middle like palo alto? But also somewhere that cops don't flood all the time...

I cant vouch for ChiShi with the starbucks serramonte meets all the time; many meets there and tons of parking, and no driveway/ramps

How about the Starbucks at Bridgepointe in San Mateo (where we hold the RR/TI Meet). Plenty of parking, midway between SF/SJ, & easy access for the East Bay folks through 92 (San Mateo Bridge). Plus if your hungry, there are several food places in that plaza.

Best Idea so far! Tons of space and the Starbucks actually has back lot parking separate for Starbucks itself at bridgepointe!

Thanks! Yep, there is a back lot mainly for the employees but anyone can actually park there. Plenty of room too! You just have to enter at the far end of the plaza.

Here's a arial pic of that area (Arrow points to Starbucks & red square is back parking area. You can actually park a bunch of cars along the fence too near the green area.):

I'm in, but looks like most of these meets are in the South Bay and a bit too far for me to go every week (I'm in Oakland).
