Is this group still meeting?
I read portions of the tread and it's all over the place: DB, SR, Mc.Carthy, etc...
Plus various days and times: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, AM, PM and so on...

I would like to get out and see familiar faces and meet new ones.
Let me know!

Plus, I met a new Z owner who also would like to join. That's +2 already.

Thanks.
Hey nice to see ya again after all these time, sorry for the long wait at parking lot, you had right idea by going to Red Robins.

As South Bay Z resident this thread is really quiet.
It's sad to say that I've been in more G's, S2000's and Evo meets in the South Bay, than Z's in the month of December.

Guys, we need to fire this up and get together again.
Who's up for a meet at the end of the week?

Pretty much no one seems to want to meet anymore. It seems like meets are suggested and wanted but no one really shows up. Theres alot of "Ill try to make it." or "Ill go." (but never show up), FLAKES etc....Most of the time its the same people sometimes new faces show up.

Well good luck in trying to get something together. Ill be checking to see how it goes.

Im down as well. One of the things that deturs (sorry for spelling) us from meeting is location. Since we do not have a set location to hold meets it prevents us from getting together. Im sure going to different places is good but having a steady location to hold a meet where everybody knows is much better. IMO.

+1. I think Santana Row would be a pretty good place to have a meet on Friday night. Its close to everything we need; food..etc. Also plenty of parking is what we need.

Should make it a weekly thing at the same location. Isn't it hard to find parking at SR on a Friday night?

Btw, the parking is quite difficult to find on Friday night. Hopefully not this Friday.

the eternal battle for a friday meet location....

parking at SR i had to laugh at that...

best bet would be to just go to a tech company's parking lot or even something like Frys.

their parking lot gets empty after 8pm.

Yeah Im with everyone else. Why go to SR when its always packed with people and full of cars.

Frys parking sounds fine but im pretty sure that they would not like it knowing that a bunch of Z car guys are hanging out in the parking lot.
Might think we are waiting to rob someone.

You would think that finding a place to hang out/chill would be easy, but damn it's way harder than I thought. Pros/Cons to every place. Looks like the search is still on.

To be honest, I've been scouting for a new SOUTH BAY MEET SPOT.
It had to meet the following criterias:

- Easy freeway access
- Ample parking day or night (away from crowds)
- Mod friendly lot (low to no speed bumps)
- Wide selection of restaurants
- Clean and well kept for photo opportunities

Here it is, the RIVERMARK PLAZA

LIST OF RESTAURANTS @ RIVERMARK:
------------------------------------------------
Burger - Red Robins
Japanese - Yo Yo Sushi
Chinese - Yan Can
Mexican - Baja Fresh
Italian - Piatti
Indian - Mezbaan
Sandwiches - Quiznos
Pizza - Premier Pizza
Fast Food - McDonald's
Bakery - Prolific Oven
Deli - Posh Bagel
Coffee Shop - Peets Coffee
Desserts - Cold Stone
Smoothies - Jamba Juice

CEO350Z The Parking location @ Rivermark, which I highlighted above, is primarily deserted -- on days, nights and weekends.
Additionally, I forgot to mention the Park's Parking lot across the street (see top right corner of the Rivermark Plaza Pic.)
You can count on my research!

Besides @ Fry's there are no restaurant spots within walking distance.
