You can count on my research!

Besides @ Fry's there are no restaurant spots within walking distance.

no worries, i just stated my experiences at lunchtime during the week.

if there's ample parking, i'm in.

Its going to rain this week and throughout the weekend. So, this friday might not be the best time for a meet. Next week looks much more promising due to the weather....Anywhere that is mod friendly and low speed bumps is cool with me..

How about meets at Oakridge Mall? like the parking on the macy's side or the target side. Considering the parking next to the food court is ridiculous. But if those spots are still too packed across the street from Oakridge is good too. There is also a golf land across the street off Blossom Hill.

Changvi is right! According to weather.com it should rain this Friday 1/4, Saturday 1/5 and Sunday 1/6.

Apparently there will be no South Bay Meet this week!

Why is everyone so scared of the rain??? We dont exactly have to stay near the cars. I mean it's a meet/get together. We meet up and get together to go eat, hang out, chill, conversate. It's just water. Now I could understand if it was acid rain, **** rain, hell even $hit rain falling fron the sky then of course you would'nt catch me out there but common its regular rain. LoL!
Oh well another meet gone thanks to rain.

GoGoBZB I'm sure you take pride in keeping your Z in tip-top shape.
For a lot of us that spend hours detailing our vehicles inside and out, it's hard to see it all wash down a drain due to bad weather.

Also it's more than just rain that I'm concerned with:
- Mud (outside & inside)
- Water puddles
- Road sediments & debris are picked-up
- Dirty shoes
- Wet clothing on the leather seats

So when it rains, I take the beater out!

^add potholes covered in water, loose debris on the road, dumbass drivers who can't drive in the rain, tires that suck in the rain, & open vented hood.

I'll be down to meet up, but I'll just be taking the beater most of time during the winter season.

What about that one plaza in Mountain view someone suggested, where BB is?

That was only a suggestion for the End of year Bay Area Meet

What's the problem with RIVERMARK - We can have tables reserved @ Red Robins or any of the other restaurants.

dewser I do take pride in my car as do many others, but it is not going to stay nice and neat forever. I do understand that when it rains there are many other things that happen along with it just as you stated. Like the saying goes $hit happens! It seems like people are interested in showing off and trying to be show ready that it kinda defeats the purpose of having a Z in the first place. Its not like some magazine photographer is just gonna jump outta no where and take snap shots. Just my opinion. Anyways it's your Z do as you like right.

Oh well time to drop the whole rain thing cause I know I might offend some people and I dont want all that.

Sooooooo where will the meet be when the rain stops?

[QUOTE=b-ron]GoGoBZB i feel the same way. rain doesnt stop me!!

+1 Right on man.

I do understand why they are all afraid, I mean anything can happen at a moments notice. But being afraid dosent get you anywhere. Take the meet for example. Meet's on and then Oh no's boss it's a gonna rain time to call it off. (Just being sarcastic no offence) Well I guess I will have to agree with the people though it is better to be safe than sorry. As for the rain like you said "rain dosent stop me". You gotta do what you gotta do.

Here is my suggestion:

Meet at RIVERMARK around 7:30PM, next Friday 1/11/08.

Additionally, for those that are hungry, we can reserve a table @ Red Robin.

BTW - RIVERMARK has many other restaurants to choose from in case Red Robin's is not acceptable for everyone.

Let's start a head count, otherwise this will never happen.
