the typhoon's not affecting where i am.....yet. i'm currently in Nha Trang & will be heading back to Saigon this afternoon (location relative). i was watching the news and the typhoon's hammering the middle of the country.

it's a love hate country. you'll definitely have fun but there are times that you just hate it. there are lots of scooters and bicycles. i have not seen a NISSAN my whole time here. lots of mitsu's and toyotas. surprisingly ford's really popular here. the cost of a vehicle is 3X the cost (USD) in the states. so a $15K car would cost $45K after you get it out of customs.

no one in particular ruined it, just, out of no where you see 10 or so cops in a huddle (standing outside their cars) like as if they were planning on who goes where, and then everyone just starts scattering and we all leave, and these stupid *** rsx's and integra's burn out WHILE leaving the whole place and hit redline and everything and i'm just like, "did you not see the cops?"

i doubt i'm going to go out next week ... it's getting too unsafe.
