good meet tonight guys ... until the cop came and told us to leave.

what are we going to do next week? the cop said "you guys are in a private parking lot" ... no we're not ... and he said "anyone not eatting in these restaurants will have to leave now because these restaurants pay for the parking and their customers have no where to park".

i'm afraid he might come back next week with back up ...

 

Cops are the main reason I stopped going, last time I was there, I noticed a lot more riffraff and trash being left around in the parking lot, a sure sign things are going down hill.

Lots like that are normally owned by the property owners that the stores lease from, they are not public property and if you are not customers of the stores the cops have every right to kick you out.

If we were meeting at coffee or boba places, there would be enough customers (car people with cups in their hands) to keep the cops off our backs, provided things stayed calm and we did not leave trash in the lot.

Good meeting everyone last night. Its funny because I was talking to Kevin and I asked do cops come by here and he said only to make sure nothing bad happens...then the cop pulls up and tells everyone to leave.

Any plans to change the venue up?

 

well that's the funny thing, we meet right in the middle of two noodle restaurants, but right on the other side, is a boba tea shop, actually, 2 of them i believe, and so we could all juss walk over and get some, and come back, if we all got cups in our hands, he can kiss our asses =)

 

i mean yeah remember there were several cops going around the parking lot last time and they never told us to get out or anything...plus we had so many meets so i think is only that cop or something is fishy

 

its because people are retarded when leaving (srt-4s.....) and try to act badass, making as much noise as possible when leaving

How bout Q-Cup in Milpitas (1679 N Milpitas Blvd), they open till pretty late (1~2AM?) with surrounding business closed around 9PM, there should be minimum interference from them, and parking lot is big enough to hold 50 or more cars...

or Tapioca Express in Fremont off Automall?

 

that's been a thought a while back, but it's pretty much a no-go due to the fact that it's like a couple blocks from a police station, and there are a lot of stuck up guys when I usually go there at night.

 

Try to keep it in the South Bay. As far south as possible. Got to keep it on the down low though. Can't have those idiots that like to show off and ruin it for the group.

I think it should not be a weekly meet. Maybe 1-2 times a month. If you have it every week on the same day and time, eventually the cops are going to catch on no matter where you have it.
