that poor kid... he has no clue.. .my Scion tC used to eat V6 mustangs for dinner and $hit em out... he needs to realize he has a slow car lol.. I gotta give those other guys props though

My DD (Ford Escort ZX2) has been running on the same OEM factory battery, headlights, clutch, transmission, exhaust, and suspension since I bought it brand new back in 2000. I've put 85K+ and it still runs great.

the mustang was my first car too but i'm getting ready to step into a z
still looking for a blue one 6 speed around. going to have to order it since i haven't seen one at the dealership around san jose.
just worried that since the new 2008 or 2009 z is probably going to switch 3.7-4.0 engines that there is not going to be many performance parts for the 2007.

And besides, I belong to a mustang club (as of now, hopefully will see myself in a Z soon), and they all have a respect for the Z! A few of them still own the older Datsuns, and wouldn't mind having a new one..
So don't hate on mustangs, a lot of them don't hate on you!
(Oh and the reason for trading in the stang for a Z is the same reason why I think a lot of these mustang clubs get together. The mustang is becoming a total chick car, and I think this is one of the few ways we can keep our dignity
)
Wow, this thred resurected again! I was glad to see the respect from the Ford owners particularly the V8 guys on the forum. There are a lot of nice cars out there, it is ok to enjoy nice cars no matter the make or model. A rivalry such as the Z and stang is a great thing. We had track days with Cobras and GTs becuase the Zs were comprable in performance. We had a great time, and thats what matters. Have fun with your cars and don't "hate"!
