Default 2008 NSX Japan Deput PICS

Here some information and pics of the NSX.

To debut for ‘08 in Japan as part of the Acura brand launch in Japan.
4.5L V10 with 550hp.
Front engined, SH-AWD on new platform.
Styling more in line with British GTs than Ferraris. It’s front-engined afterall.
Priced similarly to outgoing NSX, undercutting future Lexus supercar.
The photos show the car looking more conventional and less like the mid-engined HSC concept of 2003. I wish they have stuck with a mid-engine design. But I guess they may have decided to go with front engine configuration for better packaging of the SH-AWD mechanism, and I guess front-engine cars can potentially be made to handle just as well and in a more user friendly manner, even though they are less pure.

Info provided from my buddy LOKE.

doesnt look very nsx. The other concept was much better looking. Ive heard they were supposed to use a v8 instead cause it could also be used in other platforms.

looks like a rebadged supra! oh noes!

looks like a japanese aston marton with more power, nothing wrong with that, i do think a GT may fit better wtih acura's image nowadays anyway though...than a true purebred sports car...

its a good looking car regardless if its real or not IMO, and current nsx owners can breath a sigh of relief that the new car wont be JUST like theirs but much better lol

that is simply a magazine's aspirations and imagination of what it COULD be...this is far from the reality of how it will look

nonetheless, thanks for the great pic post though!

I agree that it doesn't look like an NSX. I like the low wide look of the old. This one looks bulky. Hopefully Acura thinks this chopshop is ugly too.

if it's gonna carry the title of "nsx", i think it should at least be mid engine and have more of a sleek, low look to it. it looks a little bulky in the rear, at least imo.

looks good regardless, but if acura's gonna see this thing through, maybe not carry over the name.

Definitely doesn't look good enough.. To me, NSX should look like a Ferrari.

It doesn't look that bad. And it doesn't look any taller than the Z. I don't know where some are getting the "bulky" thing from either.
I do agree it doesn't look like the current NSX at all, not even remotely. Except the tail lights have a long strip that go across the rear end and the edges are triagular.
But it does have the new face of Acura. TL like headlights. And that A emblem needs to be moved to the top of the bumper like the Z nissan hamburger. Down low like that will only get mean @$$ rock chips and block air flow to the radiator.

Bah. . .I liked the HSC so much more, looked much more like a supercar, then again this is just an artists interpretation. Give me a GTR.
