Ultimate Z Weekand (APRIL 25-27th)
Hiya all,
Every year we caravan from Nothern California to Southern California at this time of year. This is a great event and we really have fun so I recommend you don't MISS OUT!
April 25th-27th.
Heres the plan
April 25 (Friday) Drive early in the morning to LA. Attend Jay Leno Show
April 26:Import Auto Salon, SEMA.
April 27:MSA Z Nationals.
ClubZ puts on this event and they are inviting anyone who wants to come but there are a few things you need to do by yourself if you want to join the group fast.
1) You need to join the club as the club has insurance coverage for our trip to So cal should anything happen to your car. You can register at

2) In order to get Leno tickets we need to snail mail 2-3 weeks in advance. Each person can request 4 tickets for the day. So I need some volunteers to contact me and I can give them information.
3) We will be staying Courtyard Marriot in Irvine Ca.Currently room rates are 84 for double beds. Contact Joe at speedyzx@pacbell.net we usually get a discount as a big group
4) I would recommend you guys register for the Z Nationals as soon as possible you get a better rate and a cool t-shirt which always sells out. Be Sure to register under CLUBZ

5) I'm still finding out about SEMA (Saterday) but I believe you can purchase tickets the day of the show.
I know this is a lot to take in but its really worth it to go out to this event. A lot of effort has gone into this and your missing out if you don't know.

Below I will post a long version of Kevin Neely the guy putting it together so if you want to get more of an idea of this event please read below. I just summed it up for you guys
O.K. everyone it is that time for Ultimate Z Weekend once again. Time to pull out those Z's and take our annual trip down to L.A. for the MSA show! The dates for this event are Friday April 25th thru Sunday April 27th. That gives you about these last two weeks of March and the first 3 weeks of April to get that ride together!
Here is what we have tentatively planned:
The Hotel that we will be staying at will be the Courtyard Marriot in Irvine Ca. Room rates will depend on how many people go. Joe Keawkalaya. will be the one taking care of the rooms by reserving a block for us so we can get a group discount. Please if everyone could, we would like to know by Friday March 21st 2003. The earlier that we can reserve the better the rate will be. Currently the rate for a room with double beds runs about $84.00 per night. This just to give you an idea of what the cost will be. They also have a breadfast buffet right down stairs so you won't have to run off to get something to eat in the morning. For those of you that will be jumping on board fo r the first time and have never stayed here, trust me it is well worth it!
Friday April 25th 2003: I am currently working over the phone with one of the staff members from the tonight show with Jay Leno to try and get us a block of seats so that we could attend a taping of the show when we get into Socal. We were going to try and go to Apex but they are not going to have time for us because they will be setting up for the SEMA show on Saturday. There is no set deal that we will get into Jay Leno so I am open to other ideas for sure! Just email them to me. Friday evening we will leave open for people to go and hang out and chill.
Saturday April 26th 2003: Wake up after a night of laughing and fun eat and head out to the SEMA show details to come after I find the exact location! Saturday evening we will probably make our annual hang out visit to Mr. Kojima and take over his neighborhood. Mike has been really cool and has some very cool neighbors that have allowed us in the past years to come and hang out at his house. So hopefully we are invited to come back again this year! Eh Mike!
Sunday April 27th 2003: We will wake up early probably dragging from the night before and head to the MSA show early so that we can get to the front of the line!
We will stay at the show until about 2 p.m. and then depart from L.A. back to the Bay Area
Monday April 28th 2003: Wake up late and laugh at everyone that didn't take Monday off because they assumed that they would get sleep during a UZW!
I need everyone that will need a room to email Joe at speedyzx@pacbell.net
You will also need to email me at kfneely1@pacbell.net and let me know that you are coming so that I can keep a running list of who is going to go down with us.
The planned leave time for Friday morning will be at 0600 sharp! If we get into Jay Leno, we will need to be in L.A. early enough to get in line for the show!
We will have two leaving points. One in the uppper east bay and one in the southbay. The south bay folks will take HWY 152 and meet up with the rest of the group on I 5 south. I need someone from the southbay(ahmmmmhmmm Dale) to let me know what the meet point is going to be so I can put it the final email.
For us Northbay folks we will meet at the same location as last year, In the parking lot across the street from Jamba Juice in Pleasanton and then take 580 East to I 5 south and meet up with the south bay group. If anyone has the address for this place please send it to me so that every one will have it in the final email.
I talked to Kyle over at Strictly Z and he said he is going to ask the 350z folks to tag along with us. All of you veterans in the club can help push to sign up new members!
I need everyone to call MSA asap and register for the show. I believe it is still 19.95 to register and you get a T shirt and goody pack once you get to the show! their number is: (800)321-3777 or you can register via thier website at www.motorsportauto.com

Ok we found out through Harley Pat we can't get a group number for friday. So we are going to have to do this the snail mail way.
If you plan on going please help out and do this today. I will try to get extra tickets but ultimately your responsible for yourself. I would hate to see anyone sitting outside the studio and not inside.
Everyone that is going send a self addressed stamped envelope to this address along with a brief statement saying that you are going to be in town for April 25th only and would like the
maximum "4" tickets to see the show! Here is the

Be sure to put the following information in the letter
The Date of the show you plan on attending :April 25th(friday)
how many tickets you need: 4!
WhY? You will be in the area from nor cal only on friday.
Name, Contact Number and Address.
