I was just checking out the preliminary design for the new 2009 350Z. It looks kinda cool. It has kinda the wide body look in the back and the front end is looks a little different. l

This might be an old design plan, but it's the first I've seen of it. This is just a possible design. "preliminary"
Using the same engine it's only going to increase by 25-30 hp. 325HP. (that sucks) Should be at least 350+

If the changes are that subtle, I'd keep my current Z and wait for the next generation.

 

I wouldn't believe that article. That drawing was out 3 or 4 years ago for the french 450Z lol.
Im quite sure they won't change it too much. However, I think they may add some more power, probably bump it to 340hp

They never look the same from drawing to production. So it will probably change.

 

i hope they do a little more than just a subtle change, the subtle changes to the altima, the G sedan so far hasnt worked out that well according to the press...infact, i think C and D just said nissan has slipped in terms of profitablity again...

i mean i dont hope they go all crazy and fugly, but someting more than what looks to be a basic face lift would be nice (even though internals will be different)

 

The new two door altma kinda looks like the G35 body.

 

Nissan did a good job at redesigning the maxima IMO.

it's a sketch...this grain of insight is practically worthless; the sketch was probably made by the media/magazine hired rendering grunt with no linkage to Nissan whatsoever; that's usually how this new crap starts anyways

 

This sketch is pretty old right? I remeber seeing it as a possible design for the 08 Z as well..

 

That sketch was back at least in October 2006. Im pretty sure, one of the designers got word of the negative comments about it, and went back to the drawing board. There's no way that's gonna make money. The 325hp probability tho' is realistic.

 

why do people keep thinking they found a new picture, it is the same LAME drawing by some random asshat (that is retardedly ugly btw)

and they have released NO specs on a 09 Z so....
