I would think switching trunk lids would be relatively easy. just unbolt original and bolt in new. sounds like this would be an awesome time to buy a carbon fiber hatch from Seibon. but seriously, you probably didn't do anything. it was probably some jealous guy. just curious, but where do you work?

I work in a office complex with some 10 or 20 other companies in here... up on Bovet in San Mateo.

I heard cats all day long. If you have a job, I will take it. The irony is I was thinking of not going to work today, I am on the verge of quitting any day, and this morning I almost did it...

I wonder if the CF Trunk would be too ricey looking esp if I dont have the money for the hood right away?

On a side note, I would have to swap out the glass, wiper assembly and all the plastic and wiring harnesses and seals...

Sorry about your car...
I don't like people that take 2 spots either - I hate car keyers more.. Though it seems ok cause there are plenty of other spots available, you definitely put yourself out there as a target. Since there are plenty of spaces available and you already park away from everybody else, you probably didn't have to take 2 spots.. It's not likely - but possible - that somebody will park beside you anyways.. Probably less of a chance than somebody keying your car... my $0.02.

Good Luck...

in all reality I wish they did a better job, I mean **** do all the panels... same $500 deduct I have to pay... *******s...

This isn't nearly as bad as when my ex back in NY tried to light my car on fire and all she did was melt down a sparco, and the smoke damaged the inside... all I did was her sister :-/

yeah but seriously... this is bull****. It has to be someone who was new to parking in the garage, because there has been no issue for the past 8 months I have worked there...

Honestly they should have signed there work with 'dont take two spots' if that was the reason.... but I dont even do the ******* thing of straddling the line...

That's not entirely true. A buddy of mine parked his brand new S2000 far away in a shoping center all by himself in the back. As he was walking out he saw this Ford F350 pass by his car. The guy stopped, backed up right next to his car, and slammed his door open into his S2000 3 times, laughed, and drove away. The point is, there are sick people out there who thinks it's funny to damage other people's car for no reason. It get's their jollys up for some reason. .......OP, sorry about your car man.

Yeah it was so fcuked up that my buddy stood there stunned for a few seconds just to process what had happened. The damage cost him a little over $300. I didn't believe his story until he showed me the damage. Truely some sick people out there
