DIY with the Service & Maintenance manual that came with the car. All you need is:
a friend with a shop that has a lift (free), or
get a heavy-duty jack ($75-$200) and jack stands (can be purchased as combo with jack) and
a 10mm hex socket to pull out the drain & fill plugs ($5).
Inspect all the check boxes that pertain to the 350Z.
Replace new air filter if you haven't already ($50 for K&N)
get 3 quarts of Nissan MTF HQ ($32),
some decent gear oil ($25 - I use Motul 90PA, bought it from Sharif@Forged)
new washers for the drain & fill plugs ($2.50 each X 4 = $10)
Lastly, use a bottle of Gumout (the grey bottle is more concentrated) and you're good to go ($7).
Total cost = $204 - $329
Time Spent actually working on vehicle = 3 hours
Knowledge gained and continued usage of heavy-duty jack, jack stands, and K&N filter = $125 - $250 savings per 30,000 mile service.

You probably want to get a professional all-points inspection of your Z and not just a lube job. Save the DIY for your beater car until you know what you're doing and before you overlook something critical on your Z.
