Anyonw wanna go to the track tomorow
Test N Tune is usually full of the big dog V8's tuning in their timimg etc. It cost 40 bucks too. Lots of trans ams etc.
More Imports running 14 and 15's on Wednesdays.
It's usually packed but if enough people wanna go It sounds like fun. Just letting you know that it's 25 more bucks than Wednesdays. That's a steak dinner!
On Wednesday's you get in 2 free practice runs then brracket race. Even if you lose you can go back to lane one and keep running for time slips all night. For 15 bucks you can get in about 6 or 7 runs when or lose by 830pm.
Another downside to non race night is the track prep, not much is put into it on non race nights.
I defintely want to try out my 75 HP jets ASAP that's for sure!
Anyone else down?

I hear you complelty on the rain.
Let me try and explain Wednesdays a little.
It is called speciality night. Whatever car that is in that class like this Wednesday being Camaro's (I need to check the calender) simply means that all Camaro's get their own lane, lane 7 the closest lane to the pits and parking.
It is really to our advantage to not be in lane 7 because lane 7 seems to move the slowest (just from my observations)
any observers can walk right into the pits and take good pictures and walk in the lanes far back and talk to drivers etc, they are not real strict if you act like you know general safety. Just stay away from the front of the line, back behind the line you can get good pics even as an observer.
What Speciality Night is doesn't mean is that you will line up against Camaro's all night. You have 7 lanes and 2 strips. The guy will call up two cars in order starting with lanes one and two all through the night.
Everyone gets two free runs before racing starts then you bracket race.
You never really know who you are going to line up against until the lines get smaller and smaller as people either lose or "break out" (beat their dial in time) after that if you are still in it all comes down to math. You can count the cars after about 3 or 4 bracket runs and figure out who you are lining up against. To me it doesn't matter who is in the other lane. I'm not even looking at them. I'm watching the staging lights
just race the clock, not your oponent, pretend they are not there. You can let them laucnh away if all you want is good times, you will lose but at least you won't be distracted then you can go practice in lane one.
It's all good fun and everyone is a good sport.
Import Wednesdays draw the biggest crowds so it shouldn't be that busy! Import and High School Night.
I'm going next wedensday if the weather is good and if a Maro wants to line up against me so be it. Most of them are 13 cars, some are high 12's and very few (maybe 4 regulars) are 11's. And I know all the 11 cars and some of the 12's
Let's all go represent. Now that I know about the brake fuse pull out mod and have upped my jets I want to see where I am at too!
