I was on my way the gym tonight when a douche bag cop pulled me over stating the reason as I was "engaging in a speed contest" Which is total bull**** because I wasn't. So I argued with him about it. After writing up the ticket I asked him why he thought I was "racing" and that if I really was "racing" then how come I was the only one pulled over. And do you know what that douche bag said to me?
He said that I was racing because there was another vehicle 15' behind me that was weaving in and out of traffic to keep up with me. WEAVING IN AND OUT OF TRAFFIC!!! Yet he ****ing pulls me over when I was in the far right lane so that I could turn onto N. Sunrise and I was going straight w/ no cars in front of me!
I'm not denying I was speeding a little, but that ****** tried to say I was going 75mph! I was doing 60mph max!
Then he tries to tell me that he pulled me over because I was the easiest one to get to because I turned right while the other car went straight. BULL****!!
Because as I made my right onto N. Sunrise the light to go straight on E. Rsvl Pkwy had just turned red, and since I was in front of the other car that person would've been a ****ing sitting duck at the intersection. So unless that person ran a red light they would've been at a complete stop.
Yet I was the easiest one and most available one to get to?
**** that guy.
When I told him that I wasn't denying that I was going over speed limit but that I was definitely not "racing" he ****ing threatens me.
Stating "I'll tell you what, when we are in court I will do my best to try and convice the judge that you were racing so you better come with your guards up."
WTF!?!
Good thing I was already on my way to the gym because I had a lot of anger to work out of my system.
It's one thing to say I was speeding, but to say I was going over 70mph in a 45 and actually stating on the ticket that I was "engaging in a speed contest" is a whole other thing.
And the penalties become alot more severe.
So I told him to go ahead and try to convince the judge.
He ****ed himself over by telling me the other car was weaving in and out of traffic while speeding and by telling me he popped me because I was the most available car of the two. He did it because my car doesn't look stock aesthetically. So he basically profiled me. And I called him out on that too, straight up put his *** on Front Street. He could only respond "I pulled u over because you were racing not because of how your car looks"
LAME!
So now it's on, I'm contesting this stupid ticket and filing a complaint on this ******. And if I can't get this taken care of without going to court this cop better be ready to bend over, because I'm gonna **** this douche bag hard till his vagina hangs like a wizards sleeve. ****ing DICK.

Ok...i feel much better now that I got all that out.

Tell them you want to file a written declaration and pm me the CVC Codes and i will pm you an letter to take care of it

altough you have to pay the fine in advance and if you fight and win the ticket they send you a check back and dismiss the ticket

Bottom Line is that you were speeding! They are not going to give two chits about your story. You recieved a speeding ticket for "Speeding" end of story... Suck it up!

sucks that you are the one that got targeted..but i mean you did admit you were speeding so he had reason to pull you over..he shouldnt have gone into the whole you were trying to race ****....anyways good luck with everything

I think you should have grabbed the ticket book out of his hands and tore it up and then struck him.. That would have let him know you aren't someone to mess with..

Same thing happened to me a few years back. Wasn't racing, just speeding and since there was another car near who was also driving fast, the dick gave me a speed contest ticket. I got a traffic lawyer ($$$) and got the thing reduced to 1pt speeding ticket. I've never tried the declaration by written plea before. Seems to me that this would be something that would easily be thrown aside in court, but maybe CocaColaDrunkie can shed some light on this.

Yeah, i got pulled over for running a red light while making a right turn. Can you believe that!! How can you possibly run a red light making a right? The cop was being an ******* as well. He then tells me that he won't give me a ticket for running the red light. LOL....i was like wft?? But he gave me a ticket for modified exhaust. He gave me a hard time about a ticket which i received over 10 years ago as well. What a punk....its car and racial profiling.

 

I think what he is trying to say is that the ticket was for engaging in a race, which might bring a bigger penalty than just speeding. I would fight it as well (not the speeding part), just to make him drag his butt into court.

 

You do know that you have to come to a complete stop at the light before making a right, right? I'm surprised at how many people I've come across that don't know that.

 

I did stop. He used that excuse to pull me over.

That's right I did admit to the officer I was speeding and would have taken a speeding ticket without a fight. The reason why I am pissed off is for the fact that on the ticket he doesn't put the reason down as speeding.
Instead he wrote "Engaging in a speed contest!!"
And that's bull**** because I wasn't racing anyone.

 

Probably the same pecker head that pulled me over for a loud stereo on North Sunrise in front of Home Depot. This was when it was stock WTF?? It would have cost me more money to fight it then to pay it. Even reduced 50% by the judge it was $255....outrageous. I had Lil John playing with my windows down and he was next to me at the light. Probably just didn't like the music. Rocklin and Roseville cops don't mess around they bend you over whenever possible. Good luck

 

I don't have a problem with officers. It's just the dicks that get me heated.

Funny that I found this thread, because I was on the other side of police profiling on my way home from work today. I was halfway up the street to my house glanced in my rearview mirror, saw a cop behind me, realized I was going 12 over the speed limit, and thought "****!!!". I get to the next stop light, he's still behind me, then he pulls into the lane next to me and gives me a thumbs up! Why did this happen? Because I was driving my husband's Jeep. Stupid redneck cops. I was pulled over on the same street a couple of years ago for doing 3mph over the speed limit, and had to sit through a lecture about speeding and received a written warning. And yet they say the don't profile...

 

Rocklin and Roseville cops have nothing better to do w/ their time.
