Default Due to police etc. Should I take my car to HIN?

Hi guys:

To those that are gonna be in the area, are you driving your Z to HIN? I would like to, but am afraid of getting ticketed while in the parking lot.

Let me know your opinions...

a measly fix it ticket maybe worth the trouble if you want to go. I remember last year it was in SF and the cops were having a field day giving out fix it tickets. I'm personally not into the whole import show car thing. Its rigged and i must say the cars can get repiticious.

Crap shoot if you ask me. Last time I went to one of these events with my previous car, got a smog ref ticket.

True, after my flat tire yesterday I've had a string of bad luck with the Z. Ugh...I think I'll just take the oddysey. I'll be chillling near most of the Z's, if you see me or recognize the spikey hair come say whassup

F*ck taking your car to HIN, too many haters there, and the show sucks. Minus all the fine ladies they have.

i wouldn't do it. unless your car's in the show, just leave it at home. haters will find ways to mess with your car. cops will be there, both to keep the peace and write out tickets. remember, once you're on the road, your a$$ is theirs.

just bum a ride

I wouldn't drive a nice car to a import show and park it with the public. Screw worrying about a ticket, I would worry more about a door ding or some dumb azz stealing something or vandalizing it.

I would not recommend bringing your z's unless it's totally stock with a front plate. i just came back from rolling in at HIN and they are doing something new. They are checking the VIN numbers on the cars! I guess they are checking to see if any of the cars were stolen. They also looked at some kind of code on my engine. Don't really know what that tells them. There are cops everywhere looking for anybody doing something stupid so be careful.

Exactly. I'm not taking my Z, if you've seen it in person you know how flashy it is.

See you guys there,

they did this @ infineon last fall too... lame... you don't have to submit your vehicle to that inspection for them to get the #'s btw.
