Default Need Help From any SF Drivers

So I'm not too familiar with driving in sf, but in a few weeks I need to drive to SF Japantown from Santa Clara and I was just wondering if anybody could give me tips on what roads to avoid as my car is lowered quite a bit and I don't want to run into any steep hills and or potholes. Thanks in advance
This will probably be my route: http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...isco&2s=ca&2z=

hey derek, if you're going to take that route you should know webster and fell is a pretty hilly area. I don't know who low your car is now... but yeah, that entire place is pretty bad. You can go a little farther along fell and make a right on fillmore instead. It's a little flatter if i remember correctly but traffic on fillmore is worse than webster.

may want to consider the long way around by taking the 101 getting onto the 280 then the 1 as if you were on you're way to sf state take 19th ave down towards the gg bridge then make a right on geary. i used t live in the richmond district and all my ricer friends with lowered cars never had any problems with that area.
but then again it is a longer way to you're destination.

Take 280N Exit at San Jose St. Bear immidiete left onto Dolores. Take dolores all the way over market to castro/divisadero. Follow divis north to japan town.

Might take you a little longer but take 19th ave through Golden Gate Park and right on Geary....
Another route you can take is via Skyline - Great Highway - Geary Blvd.

i drive by there every day and my front is about 3-3.5 inches off the ground. just drive sideways down! at the end of every hill. make sure there are no cars next to you.
