If you do enough, 3K dumps you'll need new tires too...

They have to drop your tranny to replace the slave. Clutch/Pressure plate only replaced under warranty if evidence of slipping/glazing.

Yeah I'd bring it. If oem glazed swap should be free. If not, maybe small install swap fee.

Glad you made it in one piece. Flat tire on I5? PITA with those semi trucks flying by...scary stuff

well, i called NNA and according to them, if my vin number falls under the recall (whichi it does) I can take it to any nissan dealer and get it all swaped out free of charge even if the problem hasnt happen to me yet. The only thing that I notice when I first got it was when depressed, I feel popping noises kinda like a knuckle pop.

Good deal then...some guys on that thread I linked said nope to clutch/plate unless it's glazed, but if NNA says they will...sounds like a win to me.
Clutch pedal pressure very light also = slave on it's way out and some fall to the floor and stay disengaged = it's failed.

sorry couldn't make it. Had to help my bro take his z to the body shop. Any ways I took my car to Vacaville nissan and they alerted me about the recall on the 07. I wasn't going to tell them about it till I was ready to get it done but I was really impressed. The tech recomended me to get it done asap even though it says voluntary recall. He already ordered all the parts needed and said he'll contact me once they arrived. No questions asked. Honestly I felt a little weird about the fact a stealership was acutally doing there job.

Paul, those brakes have already been spoken for...
It's already been arranged on who will be buying those when they do go on sale... even if the buyer has to dip into their watch fund..
