Nissan has issued a Voluntary service campaign on the 2007 350z mt clutch slave cylinder

Campaign ID p7252

Vehicles that qualify"

JN1BZ34**7M500002 to 552786
JN1BZ36A*7M650021 TO 654836

Call 1800 nissan 1 w/ you vin # to see if it qualifies..

I'll try to upload the whole file later...

Here is an example of a letter

Hummmm. Does the fix work? My Nismo falls into the range.

I would assume that nismo Z's below #350 will qualify... if your Z is #007 and it's almost at the end of the list...

I'd be curious how this goes. No clutch problem so far but it has always felt soft to me compared to my 03. Seems to engage really high off the floor too.

Swweeeeeet, mine does NOT fall into the range I bought my '07 in August, so I guess they caught the problem in time. Glad Nissan is owning up for you/us.

I think there is some DIY where you can adjust the clutch pedal with some spacer. I might consider doing this myself. On my 03 I adjusted the clutch pedal fork itself; later I found this is not good for the car.

i HAVE ADJUSTED MY PEDAL AND CHANGED THE FLUID TO MOTUL... HUGE DIFERENCE!

Nope, I bought mine brand new in Oct and it *does* fall within that range. So I don't think build date has anything to do with it.
