This run was organized by my friend, he got the zonc Z's so I told him I would get as many online as I could......

On Sunday, June 17, 2007 join us for an challenging drive to Gualala, CA, known for its vacation rentals and whale watching. This ZONC sanctioned event will begin in Fairfield at 9:00 AM across the street from Fairfield Infiniti. After signups, the group will head to the Chevron station across from Six Flags Discovery Park (formerly Marine World) at 9:30 AM. After signups, the journey begins.

We'll continue on Hiway 37 to the Lakeville Road exit where we'll pass thru Petaluma. On our way to CA Hiway1, the Shoreline Hiway, we'll pass thru one of California's noted cattle grazing areas. As we continue on to Bodega Bay, we will start seeing scenic views of the Pacific Ocean. As we pass thru Bodega Bay enroute to Jenner, CA, we will pass several historic sites, sandy beaches, state parks, and recreational areas. As we appproach Jenner, we'll regroup as the only stop sign that we'll encounter, shall appear, right on the highway.

After regrouping at the gas station, we'll continue on to Gualala, where we'll find the ride "exciting". Once we get to Gualala, right around noon, we will have lunch at the MEZZA GRILLE, (No Host)where there's ample parking. After lunch, we'll begin the journey home. During the drive home is the best opportunity to stop and check out the views as most of them are on the southbound lane of Hiway 1.

Mace Blvd exit, coming from sac turn right after the exit and meet at the Arco Station on the left.
Depart at 8:15.

FAIRFIELD
Infiniti Of Fairfield
Auto Mall Prkwy.
Park across the street from dealer on the road.
Departs w/ Sac group @ 9am.

Vallejo
Chevron Station across from Discovery park(marine world)
10 SAGE ST.
VALLEJO,CA US

101 and Lakeville Rd.
Departs @ 1000am
Bring radios if you want, channel 7.

Sure, why not. G's have always been welcome at other Z functions.

 

Honestly I feel the same about G's being welcomed but this is a ZONC event so I dont know how they would feel.......in other words email and ask :

He set it up for zonc, he will probably say its ok but I honestly cant speak for the club, most of my meets posted are not planned by zonc but this was.

Or do what I do and just show up anyways, free country.

 

I have a dumb question but are you talking about ch. 7 on a C.B. radio? Because I have one I can bring.

I just received an email saying that I have to work with the year end closing of the fiscal year. sorry guys!!! I was really looking forward to this.

 

They can't do that. It's Father's Day!

 

they are doing sat and sunday. They also have me work Memorial day and the 4th.

 

What did you do to **** them off this time or is that normal for the Univ. prior to Fiscal.

 

the financial services people rule this place. They want everything closed by monday.

 

So how many people does it look like for this ride showing up, other than the ones signed up in here?

 

seriously no idea, its a zonc run so this is sent out on there news letter to all the clubs Z owners in norcal. He had around 30 people a few months back but it was canceled due to rain. I will email him and ask him what he has via email.
