Don't worry about Cal Tech. Instead, by giving your business to M&S, you're basucally rubbing it in Cal Tech's face. Talk to Ray from M&S, and tell him that Vince sent you there. He will hook you up. Call BBB and file a complain, and also talk to your credit card company and give you a partial refund.

i just found out my leather seat (driver) is scratched pretty bad. not bad enough to cut through but very noticable, probably about 8 lines...
whoever sat in the seat to move my car, had a knife or something sharp in their pocket...

Wow . . . I expected bad but that's plain sh*tty. I'd be wondering if they were shady enough and replaced it with a replica.

Hope you checked your mileage, I used to deliver to bodyshops, some crappy ones will take the customers nice cars out for a joy ride.

Some of those pics looked like there was either damage from them or already on the kit itself, they did a terrible job painting but was that kit smooth completely when you got it?

milleage was off, i knew he took it somewhere. but i didnt put the milleage down when i dropped it off.
it doesnt take 4miles to put the car into the shop from the parking lot. but i forgot to bring it up at pick up. i noticed it later

the kit was not perfect that is why i explicitly told him he NEEDS to prep, and sand before putting it on. i told him it was not a perfect kit, he said "yes yes we know, we've done it many times"

well now i know he dropped the ball on purpose to save money.

i wrote up my BBB report, im posting to every review site there is.

if you guys have any suggestions for review sites let me know

thanks!

not to be a dick, but you got what you paid for. 400 bucks is cheap to paint those pieces. Still no excuse, but it is buyer beware

no worries. it wasnt too much about the money. i asked him for a quote. i didnt go the cheapest shop in SJ that had 89 Ford Pintos laying around and thats all they fixed.

if he said 550 or whatever he wanted and got the job done right, then i would have paid. but the motherf@c&er lied to me and did a ****ty job.

Just ask Ray to park your car close to the garage. On top of that, they always have guys working outside, so you have nothing to worry about. Also, they always park their customer's car inside. Bottom line, don't worry about Cal Tech people...they're scums anyways. Just tell ray Vince sent you there, the one with silverstone 350z. He knows who i am. Good luck bro..
