I'm having an incredibly difficult time with this. On one hand I can't let it go b/c I know when it's done it will be special. On the other hand the replacement will be just as sweet.

Boy this is tough.

When I can get one of the following and actually afford to maintain:
- F355 - the black one on CL is just sweet... I'm dreaming..
- SL500 - Love the hardtop convertible...
- Cayman S / 911 S >>> it could happen, maintenance worries me...
- NSX or SUPRA - hard to convince the wifey since it they would normally have some years on them already...
- M5/M3 if I have to get a sedan.

I 'm very happy with the Z.... People, the Look with simple mods, cost of maintenance compared to the above list... Hopefully, I'll be able to get one of the above and keep the Z...

I'll probably just keep the Z for about 5-6 years. I'll still buy another car 2 years after the Z is paid off, and use the Z as a 2nd car.

What stuff needs to be fixed on the Z? Anyways, I think the Honda world could relate to the fix something, something else breaks or goes wrong. Ive been thru 3 Hondas with that problem.

Glad to hear that you're not parting out your ride anymore. You already know what I have my eyes on. Just need to see if it's actually worth it or all hype.

Anyways, I've gone ahead & closed your for sale threads as requested. BTW...you're not a PM anymore?

James, I lost my membership. I paid for it two times already, and I don't feel like getting it again. *sigh..all I know is no matter if I keep the Z or not I'll always chilll here.

This is BAR NONE the best group of people I have ever seen. I love this site, the Nor Cal crew, and will attend everything I can no matter what I drive. I hope you do the same James! I still gotta call you....I'll hit you up later today or this week. I've decided to keep it till about December, but my brothers gonna rock it as well. AT that point I'll decide whassup.

I plan on keeping it for a long time or unless some unforunate events happen. I worked hard to get the car, and being one of the first people to get their z's in jersey was a priceless time. Date I took del was 9/16/2002 was one of the happiest days of my life.

Default Now Will BE a Track Only Car

This was one of the first 100 units and has been my daily driver and track car this past five years. I now plan to make it deticated for track days only. Strip the interior and start building a new motor when it finally does go.

It has been everthing I asked for plus Nissan has not been a problem on warrenty issues. Transmission and bearings.
