Default RANT: Stockton Police = The Lame

I had a final this morning at 8am.

I am living on my campus' summer dorm housing and its like a 1 mile drive from my complex to my class.

I pull out from my buildings's parking area and onto the main road, a 1/4 mi strip that turns back into the school so I can get to class and right as I turn in there's a Bike cop. He wasn't the normal "University Police" but actual Stockton PD.

He followed me for like 1 block then turned his lights on. He asked for my license and registration and came back 10 minutes later with a ticket for no front plate.

Bastard made me late to my final.

After class I put my plate on with my stillen mount and found a campus officer within a minute and get him to sign it off. I went to the Stockton courthouse to pay but the clerk said the ticket was issued too soon and not in their systems. Now I gotta wait a few weeks for them to mail to the damn thing because I am going home in a few hours.

-End Rant

i was born and raised in stockton. I remember back when no one can go outside after nine o clock and a lot of gang bangers. A lot of thefts with acura integras and hondas. Wonder of things changed. Sorry for your back luck.

The most over inforced and useless law ever, I bet in the time it took to write a ticket 10 cars passed with expired registration....which I believe is the most under used law and as a tax payer I would prefer they took the time to go after those people b/c when they hit you they are not insured.
Whatever, sorry.

on lat friday, i saw a dozen people pulled over during the day, i think its a planned operation among law enforcement in the bay area...i also talked to four other customers who either themselves got pulledover or had a friend pulled over on friday and saturday...

no idea how long the operations is lasting so be extra careful

you sure it's not just you James? or your "driving style"? Vince was right behind you, having the same exhaust and is even more modded, and the cop just blew by him and pulled you over. I've been here for a year and a half and never got pulled over.

Maybe if you smoked less crack........lol...
