I'm sure it will get moved but couldn't find the OT section.
I'm buying a laptop later this year and wanted opinions on these two 17" laptops, as to which is a better overall value. I only use the computer for surfing the net, e-mail and Instant Messanger.

I have seen both on sale for less. $1200 for the HP and something like $850 I think for the Toshiba.
