so i dont like to drive my car alot, cuz im scared of it getting stole, dont like to put miles on it and also my gf's neighborhood is retarded, cuz of people egging cars or breaking into them. so ive been thinking about buying a beater. my mom n dad let me drive their cars once n awhile, but the beater that i am interested in is my old high school car, 95 integra. my sister has the car and wants a new car and wants to sell it. The delima is that i dont know whether to buy it or jus to bum off my mom and dads cars. if i buy the car, i know im going to fix it up a little bit. nothing much, but wit the money from buying the car and what i do to the car, i could have put all that money into the Z. so should i scarifice spending money on the Z to buy a beater or should i by the beater?? tell me what you think. thanks!

 

Buy the beater and drive it, why fix it up... if you fix up your beater, then you're going to have to worry about all the $hit that's going to happen to it. That's the reason why people call it a beater....

 

Buy a beater that you would never want to fix up in a million years. That's why they are called beaters. You don't mod beaters, you park them at the movie theatures, Wal Mart, the mall and your GF's house etc.. My beater truck is modded but it was modded before I bought the Z and it's weak looking compaired the my Z, even though I get people who still say it's a very nice truck. They have never seen my Z though HA.

 

jus to clarify, i was jus going to put like a lip and rota wheels thats it. but i understand about getting a beater that i wouldnt be tempted to fix up.

 

if you buy a integra, the chances if it being broken in to or stolen is much higher than your Z. Choose a nother beater if are you going to park it in your gf's neigborhood. Your other choice would just to driver your Z around.

 

just buy the beater and leave it a beater.. that would be the very difinition of beater.

 

buy a motorcycle

 

just borrow ur mom and dads ride...save that money that you would put in that beater and put it into that z...

I'm so jealous of these california cars... when I bought my se-r in Boston, it took like $1k in brakes and suspension and another $1k in body work to fix it up...

buy a moded bike then, I must be getting old...how bout getting a old school beat up s30 shell cheap then throwing in a motor, you can keep it under $5k easy and nobody would know what your rolling in.

 

but with gas prices on the rise and the details he has given us about his GF neighborhood. doesnt sound safe anyone can just drill a hole in the gas tank and steal gas
