Sleepy-Z about what you said earlier, how we can't go to the dealerships that ZONC is already goody with like Nissan of Elk Grove, how about we contact ZONC and try to become a Sacramento Z Chapter or something.

 

yeah, is it against some type of policy that we cant go to places that ZONC have contact with?

What we were thinking about was...
If we going to have a meet then, no, we dont need any sponsors, just find a location.
If we want to throw a show then we can ask for sponsors from local dealers and performance shops. The show will be variety of imports/show cars.

The only thing is Zonc actually has a monthly meet at elk grove nissan already, truth is I think anyone can go to it so the dealership is already doing that, it is a sacramento zonc reps deal. I know he wouldn't care if everyone came to it, in the end they give him access to the upstairs meeting room for discussings about shows and such and also free drinks. Point I am making is I doubt they would want/allow another Z meet due to insurance reasons especially if it was not a self insured club.....this is getting a little to deep in detail for me, I dont know too much, it never hurts to ask IMO.

As for the import show, I know very few Z's that are into "import shows", I do know a couple but not too many that enjoy being around that crowd anymore especially in sac with the police out there. Go for it, just dont always expect a huge Z turnout once its wide open to every import.

I will be outta cali in a few months anyways but I have a little experience throwing Z meets together, I used to organize the hooters meets and I did the vacaville Z meet a few years back that had 70 Z's with no sponsors but that was more or less luck getting that one together. I have the contacts, its just getting close to winter so it will be hard.

The cops didn't show up until 1am. 5 hours later.

ohh man that is not good. sorry to hear that bro. Cops usually dont show up fast for non emergency... it happened to me couple times, and cops cant do jack... once in Sacramento and 2nd time in Elk Grove. Everyone need to invest in an alarm system.. i have video cameras now.

Anyone been to Top Speed off from 65th/Stockton blvd?? well I was just wondering if anyone here know them. They have a large parking area where we can have all the Z meet. Maybe they can hook us up with some good stuff.

 

Week days are bad for me.. school early and work till late...

 

the parking lot for top speed is no good. they have very high speed bumps. i have my z lowered on tanabes gf210 and my car bottomed out and almost got stuck on the speed bumps.

you always have rpms, z32's did that once before on a saturday afternoon.

I never had any problem going into that plaza except the bumps near the supermarket. I usually come in on the Sky Parkway off from 65th ave. My z is about 3 or 4" off the ground.

 

so i found a turbo for my z ... im thinkin about gettin it...it will put me up to about 460 hp...just curious if any of you know if theres been problems with turbos for our cars ???

 

we should have a meet on a holiday where we have no school and no work.

 

the biggest problem is the street legality of the turbo kit here in CA
