LQL you guys kill me... any tips for my job interview at 4?

 

wear fancy clothes, no sport coat or jacket or anything though, stand straight, shake hands firm, answer with yes or no instead of ya or nuh uh, lol. also give short concise answers. talk yourself up, tell em what they wanna hear. if you have any piercings showing take them out, any tattoos, cover em up. shave, and dont smile too much haha. i think thats about it

 

Never heard the no smiling part before haha..

Key question that needs to be answered before i can give any legitimate detailed advise is : What is the interview for? What will you be doing?

 

sales associate at Autozone... so smiling will be required, but only enough to seem welcoming, but not too much or else its creepy... as for piercings... im f*cked haha but another guy there has eyebrow, ears, and lip done so i think it will be ok.... All of my other jobs have been retail and sales so that should help me...

 

i didnt say dont smile, just dont seem creeper smiley hahaha. other than that, you have retail background as well as knowledge of cars, you'll be fine

 

I sometimes like to write down a list of what i can share as past experience, and put it in a little note card in your pocket...read it over right before your interview so you can start thinking of how you can elaborate on all the points...

Sometimes i go into interviews and i forget to mention some of my strong points...this makes it so i kinda remember...just a thought...

 

What auto zone you gona be at btw? You gona hook us up with that employee discount? lol

My friend used to work at the kragens offa Elk grove florin and Calvine, thats like 2 minutes from my house...I sometimes go to the autozone over by bond and EGF road when i cant find what i want at Kragens lol....or oriellys or whatever they are called now

Yea i know, i just keep forgetting if its kragen oriellys or just oriellys still..

Regardless they are MUCH better than Kragens...the stores carry so much more crap now..its not even funny...kragens SUCKED lol

Well that is cool they improved. I have an autozone on the corner of Stanford and Fairway. Seems to always have what I need when in a pinch. Course, I don't need a whole lot.
