I've talked to them as they originally painted my whole car a few months ago. But a bit pricey for how low my car is. I'll prolly end up respraying once a year at this rate..

Hopefully jz33 can chime in if hea interested.

Food trucks will begin weekly festivals today
Published: Thursday, Jun. 23, 2011 - 12:00 am | Page 2B
Last Modified: Sunday, Jun. 26, 2011 - 12:39 pm

Mobile food vendors will kick off a weekly food truck festival today in the parking lot of Tognotti's Auto World on Fulton and El Camino avenues in the Arden Arcade area.

The event will feature burgers, grilled sandwiches, tacos and other fare from Mini Burger, Drewski's Hot Rod Kitchen, Mama Kim's and Chando's Tacos.

The festival will run each Thursday at different locations, with vendors being members of the newly formed Sacramento Food Truck Alliance. The alliance wants to make Sacramento more food-truck friendly and promote changes to city ordinances. Currently, mobile food vendors must move after 30 minutes and shut down at sundown.

The alliance will stress a self-policing policy, including not parking within a half-block of a restaurant.

The weekly festival generally will be outside Sacramento city limits where food trucks don't have the same restrictions.

-- Unfortunately the article doesn't offer a schedule of where this festival will be each week ?? --

Ok after a bit of google-ing .. it seems that Tognotti's will (again) be the location for THIS Thursday (30 June) Food Truck Festival.
Time: 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Uh... Are you ignoring my posts? lol I just got my front redone for $250 with a lifetime warrenty. Course they had to do it twice because the first time the color didn't match but that was probably because they come from the ghetto down in Sacramento or something.

Luxury Auto Care in Rocklin. Only had to leave the car overnight too.

Apparently orange peel is becoming a feature from the factory on a large amount of cars. Been following some discussions on it over at autogeek. They were saying it's due to the ever thinner clear coats that mfr's are using combined with formulation changes to meet VOC standards changes. Also the fact that they apparently don't do any sanding or anything from the factory either except on the high end cars due to wanting to pump cars out faster and with less cost to them.

I wish they wouldn't use clear coat at all. When that goes bad it looks horrible. The only reason it is there in the first place is because people don't like to take care of their cars. Lazy SOBs.

have you seen a car with no clear streight out of a booth? its in between flat and glossy, i call it pastey. it looks like if you final wraped your car with a red vynal sticker no depth and looks wierd. clear coat goes bad because of lazy people. if the soap you use to wash your car isnt PH balanced it will eat the clear coat in the sun. dish soap is NOT ph balanced.

hondas have sh#$ clear coats my z's is actually VERY nice the paint i understand is a bit thin, but thats why its soo flat and minimal orange peel.

orange peel is caused by too much paint to air mixture in the gun. cheaper companies spay thick paint so they only have to do two coats opposed to like 3 this thick paint is bumpy. i see orange peel on alot of factory paint jobs. cant wait til i get it right and can spray flat, makes or breaks a car at a show.

orange peel is easily preventable and fixable. a good wet sand between paint and clear and youll be fine. I learned by apprenticeship... it was cheaper than school haha

Yeah I really don't think I'd want to try to take care of a car with metallic paint that isn't clearcoated. I could be way off now, but I had read years ago that metallic paint shouldn't be wetsanded for example (which seems similar to buffing/polishing with compounds) because it would leave a dull finish to the metallic. I should note though, this was talking about spray paint in the context of painting computer cases. I figure it's a similar concept though. (again, I could be way off lol)

Clearcoat = UV protection + durability.
