Do you get any vibration as a result of having such a low idle? That would bug the $hit out of me if it did lol..

Kinda strange that your car would be finiky with the idle thought, maybe you need to clean the IACV...

I know that was a common problem with the older VQ30's and it always solved funky idle issues to clean the valve out with some TB cleaner...

not sure why it was so low. but yeah the car idled like it was fkn cam'd. used to worry the **** outta me.

are compression checks expensive/hard to do?

 

i hate people that work at car parts stores that treat you like a retard when you need their help. i just went to get the brake lines for my hydro made and the guys were the most unhelpful people i've ever met.

i also hate people that judge me for driving a "rice burner". some guy jumped out of his car and was yelling at me for "stopping suddenly" and "not using a blinker" when i was trying to avoid some kids that were riding bikes up the street the wrong way.

I have a compression gauge thing at home, it's really easy to do. The only problem Im not too sure about is how to make sure to keep the throttle wide open while u turn over the motor and check each cylinder for compression. Provided the fact we have throttle by wire I'm not sure if the TB stays open when u hold down the gas and turn it over....

I'll try to look into it tonight/this weekend and get back to you...

I totally agree, ignorance is bliss! Funny thing is most of the people that talk trash drive a peace of $hit that couldne beat a 4th grader on a bicycle off the line lol...either that or they have a projectcar that's never going to get finished that they always talk about haha...

i have a tester you could borrow..

i gave up on trying to understand them... they were cool for a couple days with the normal "where's my health bar!?", or "yes, more mana!" jokes... until i realized i was losing points and levels when i wasnt online at all and it wouldnt tell me why... as far as i know you dont get anything at all for being a level 70 Paladin either...
