I'm not complaining about the change for sure, was just totally surprised by it.
Id bet they consider the new area to be nicer and if it added garage space it also goes down. They like their investments put away at night.

I literally moved up the street, like maybe a mile. The apartment had a garage as well, though the house has a 2 car vs. 1 car garage if actual physical space was the issue. I would have thought either of those would have resulted in a change to my previous policy since there was still a month left on it when I moved. Actually, 2 months. I moved at the beginning of June, renewal starts in August, but I start paying for August in July. I'm guessing the rates must have changed or something. Either way, insurance dropping by 32% = winning!!

Nope, bday is in January, car anniversary is December, only other thing was at the end of last month I went from being registered with them as a graduate student (contributes to a discount) to having a graduate degree. The new documents say my discounts saved me around 160, the last set with the higher premium said they saved me about 270. Eh, I'm not going to look into it too much.

Yeah, I know houses are safer than apts (though the one I was in is pretty nice, Max just moved there actually). I just would have expected the move to cause an adjustment to the previous policy since I've had that happen many times in the past.

Oh and I thought about an Anniversary cause one of the discounts (which I had previously) mentioned something about 5 years having no accidents on a CA policy and I've been back in CA for 5 years July 1st, but since the "your discounts are saving you this much" actually dropped by $100, something changed the base policy amount first.

Bro doesn't usually matter how nice they are. Insurance is underwritten. They throw your factors at a computer with predetermined statistics and a number poops out. But who really cares. You're saving money! lol

Yep that's all I really care about If I remember correctly, they factor in credit still in insurance rates right? If that's the case, that could be it, been a significant jump in my scores since January when they would have renewed last time.

Anyone can join them .. the challenge is being there (at TNT or wherever they'll start) when they plan to leave.

This is a Sunday event (I just remembered that) and TNT is usually closed on Sunday. So I'm not sure exactly where the crew will meet before heading out to Lollicup.

If I get the chance I'll stop by and ask .. but this month is pretty busy ..

ZONC show this Sat (9th)
TeamLoveHate show next Sat (16th)
Summer Show Off (23rd)
EuroSunday (24th - am)
Lollicup (24th - pm)
TNT Car Wash/BBQ (31st)

Lol, only 2 1/2 in the Z, been really really lucky I guess. The Feather River run was a close call. Previous to that was a CHP on 5 headed toward Lodi earlier this last Spring. Saw him when it was too late ( no lights on though) and when I moved over, he pulled alongside and gave the hand motion to say "slow the eff down" and then he took off.

He got off at the next exit and my thought is he was either heading somewhere there, or someone reported the green 90's camaro that had passed someone at speed on the right shoulder and he was after them but with no lights on. Scared the crap out of me, there had been some black Civic or similar in my rearview for miles, look back there again and I see black front end of a CHP cruiser on my *** out of nowhere.

do you insure your now house with the same company as your car? cause that could cause a drop in rates. Also long periods of time without tickets or infractions, etc. maybe they just think yo sexy
