Wow that is a long. We should have a bbq at a park or something. with 31 Z parking on the side that would be awsome.

 

We should have a BBQ somewhere central to us all. I'd try to find somewhere but I dont know this area well enough. Anyone have an idea? Everyone could bring something to eat/drink so this way its not too costly for just 1 person and it makes it fair.

 

Id be willing to set things up for this. If I could get some help that would be great too. What I was looking at was maybe Howe Park in Sacramento Arden area. its not far off of Business I-80 and is pretty central to everyone here. Below is a pic of the spot that we would occupy:



There is plenty of parking, picnic tables, grills and bathrooms. As you can see there is a baseball diamond there if we wanted to get a softball game going. There is also plenty of parking. I would need to get a solid consensus of people that would be coming because I would need to file for a permit for this. So I think what would be a good idea, and keep people accountable for coming, would be that everyone going to show would have to bring something. So that way it keeps the flaker's at home and the folks that would like to get together to come. If we can get 2/3 the names on this list to commit ill get this set up.

This park is not in the ghetto is it? I'm not that familiar with sac. area. :P Are there any cool parks by the river or something that we can meet up at?

 

the area around the park is a little ghetto but the park is not. its a nice park. I chose this spot because of its central location to everyone and its access to the freeway.

Any parks that are near the river are either not central, or do not have enough parking close to the picnic grounds.

No matter if it ghetto or not.. if we have 20+ Z owners show up for this.. I dont think anyone would come near any of us haha The only hardest thing is to make it fit everyone schedule...Either on a Sat or Sun (as far as myself, I cant make it if it on a Sat)

The only park that is near the river would have to be the one off Richard Blvd and I-5. I cant remember the name.

We should have a list of who bring what.. cause if we say "whoever come have to bring something" we might have nothing but soda and plates haha

 

Oh I know which one you are talking about. That is a pretty cool park too! Its also central and right next to the freeway. Picnic on Sunday would be the best.
