I finally had some spare time to spend on removing my rear window wiper. Finished it yesterday, I'll get some pics up tomorrow or so. Also finished my sub-box, no more bucket for me haha.

But i did manage to get the coilovers on this weekend, and also mount up my RPF1's!

I am so happy with the fitment of the 10.5's in the front...its PERFECT, maybe ill rock a 5-10mm spacer down the line but it looks legitskeez.

Kinda screwed myself over though and totally forgot to buy hubcentric rings! Hella fail on my part so im hoping Driven Authority has some in the size i need, either that or maybe go to Les Shwuab and try my luck there since they sell Enkeis.

Also have to go back to the tire shop after work today or tomorow, i noticed right when i got back that there was a bubble in the side wall on one tire, blahhhhhh, dont know how i didnt catch that. Dude said just to bring it by and he will give me another one though...so its good Just sucks cause that tire place is FARRRRR

^ lol I don’t have any pics yet as im not done setting the ride height. I also put my stock wheels on in the rear since I don’t have the Hubcentric rings yet. Incase I have to drive my car today ill just have to swap out the front wheels instead of all four again haha…

Looks like a drift car right now with the RPF1s front and stock rears hahaha…Don’t worry, if I get the rings today I will finish her off, wash and wax her and go for a cruz for some pics after I slam it.

I am hoping that the stock arms will give me enough camber on their own with the slamage to not rub (running 255 35 18s on the front for a bit of stretch) So I hope that helps…

I don’t know what kind of camber kit for front and rear I should get. So far Ive been reading SPC or SPL is the way to go…kinda more money than I wana spend but blahhh…Anyone have any experience with those brands or others they could recommend?

I wouldn’t mind a bit of extra adjustment as I want to get a little more aggressive with my fitment and camber later on, and I may want to adjust everyonce in a while for the occasional track days. But nothing TOO fancy…just something I can install and not have to worry about later on down the road is my biggest concern.

 

I ended up copping some Megan Street coilovers off CL for crazyyyyyy cheap and they are nearly brand new from some local guy. Dude didnt even have a Z haha, i guess he got these in a "trade" from some guy that owed him money or something...

Didnt want to go with Megans but i didnt have the cash atm to get some Stance or something of the like. But whatever, i couldnt loose with the deal i got...I guess ill ride around with em untill they start bothering me or if they are indeed garbage like 99% of people say they are...I will be posting a review of them once i put some miles on them.

 

if you decide to get rid of them... DIBS and ill give you deals at the shop im at and if i get the Autozone job too

haha i meant the coils... but if you are getting rid of your wheels, i might be interested... depends... my wheels SHOULD be here the first week of June... im going to call again today and see what they say...

junkster - you'll be fine with stock arms up front. what size tire in the rear? 275? I wouldn't do more than a 10mm spacer unless you want 3 degrees of camber or more. if you do want rear camber arms definitely go with the spl's. they're the best on the market. I love mine
