well the rule of thumb the more drop the more negative camber so most likely yes unless you get a camber kit.

I like the black look on your Solar Orange. Your Fairlady Z emblem pretty much says it all..... so... you probably can lose the decals off your window. Better there than on your paint though. Looks good!!

im thinking of getting a taller tire in the back to help fill in the gap do you guys think that would help? or will it make the rim look even smaller?

Yeah, you should go with 19" instead. But your car still looks nice. Congrats.

Looks good. Leave them at the 18", they're fine there... No need for the heavier 19s, and the tire cost is way more than for 18".

You have two issues:

1. Wrong offset

2. you have the wrong size tires to keep the same tire height of an 06+ z. I see your rears are 275/35/18 and your fronts are 235/40/18. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Maybe right for a 2003 z, but NOT a 2006+. Not your fault, but the shop you bought them from SUCKS!!! You need 255/40/18 in front and 275/40/18 in rear to keep the same tire height as stock.

Offset, you can correct with the proper spacers. Check with the manufacturer to see what the offset is for those rims. Don't trust the shop that put them on. Once you know what the offsets are, ask me what size spacers you need. Spacers will bring the wheels more flush with the fenders.

The tires, you should sell to someone with an older z or another car. You should buy the right sized tires.

I'll post some pics of my wife's 18's with those tire sizes and spacers. (Her wheels were very tucked like yours - maybe worse!) SHe has 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 and she was sitting at +35 offset. We added 20mm spacers for an effective +15 offset, and bought the right sized tires to fix the look...

Oh, and the best deal on the best tires right now are the Bridgestone RE050a Pole-Positions - 255/40/18 and 275/40/18. They are not available in the right 19" sizes so I could not get them for my wheels :-(

Her car before the spacers and correct tire sizes (Really does not fill out the wheel wells):

It's not lowered yet, but you get the idea... 18's can fill out the fenders plenty well:

Your Z looks fairly similar to mine. I have a LM Sunset with black 18's that I couldn't be happier with. Personally I wouldn't go for the 19's unless you really want the look.
Since you already spent all that $$$ on rims and tires which u'll prolly end up taking a loss on when u sell. Not only that but u'll be adding even more weight with the bigger rim/tire. Not really worth it for 1" IMO.

No Problem - You'll want spacers too. You just need to find out what the offset is on those rims so you know how wide of spacers you need.

BTW, I agree with the others that your orange looks so much better with tinted windows and black wheels. Very nice contract/color combo.

BTW, some people think that the sidewall on a 275/40/18 is too tall. But this tire combo handles awesome!!! (Better than my 19's with Eagle F1 GS-D3's)
