CF Top Secret Diffuser Replica Group Buy-Norcal!!!
Hi Guys--
I'm looking for 10 persons who are interested in getting a full carbon fiber front diffuser, similar to the Top Secret Front Diffuser...
I am getting these made and they will be ready in a few weeks.
This is a FULLY FUNCTIONAL, FULL CARBON FIBER diffuser/front lip, with a gel coat, but can be readily painted for those who do not like the CF look.. For a little extra money, you can also get this in CARBON KELVAR, benefits include the option of color kevlar.. (such as Navy Blue & Black, Lite Blue & Black, Yellow & Black, Red & Black, Orange & Black)..as well as the added strength.....
i believe that all aerodynmic addons should be FUNCTIONAL as well as look good, and this is why i'm pursuing this....
I understand the recent issues with Replicas, but i assure you, i will be supervising the build up and they will have to meet my standards before i ship them.
I'm aiming for a price of around $550, shipping not included. Compared to the real diffuser at $700+, i believe this is a fair price for full carbon fiber..... The pieces are being made in the USA from the very reputable FiberImages. You may have seen some of their kits in MaxPower UK, Import Tuner, Sport Compact Car, and other media....
If anyone is interested PLEASE EMAIL ME!!! or reply to this thread...
i need 10 persons... thanks very much!

p.s.
i am also going to have a front diffuser to fit the now popular Nismo Stune Kit, and a rear diffuser....but that will be out sometime later....

Urethane would be fairly impossible for a 1 man show like me..
that a $30k injection machine.. and urethane is nice if you hit alot of things.. since it is rather flexible...but not really what you need for a diffuser... perhaps you should look into the stillen kit..

i didnt realize urethane was so expensive. i would love a cf lip, but i can barely get in and out of the parking lot at work now, i would probably shatter a cf lip in record time id also be afraid to crack it if/when i spin at the race track...
how much stronger would the carbon kevlar kits be?

Cheston- I'm very interested, just need to find out if Moodie wants to buy my Veilside Ver 1. I'm going to do a quick test fit when it arrives- but I don't think iVeilside lip is quite what I'm looking for. I'll know soon enough.

Carbon Kevlar is theoretically stronger.. these things, even with urethane if struck at the right angle would split..
but if you're at the track.. you should be happy with this lip.. hehe. most likely a oversteer spin out than an understeer push out into the dirt...
yea.. urethane injectors are bad ***.. but its freakin expensive.. what you have to do is make a mold LARGER than your intended side.. once its squeezed into the mold.. it shrinks as it is cooled... so. you have alot of guessimate.. to get it to fit right.
but hey.. this is alot cheaper than the real deal.. and you can get it in fiberglass for alot cheaper than CF is you wish....

Moodie- should be here Friday (assuming it actually gets shipped this time). I'm going to test fit it but I don't think its going to cover the bumper damage. If it doesn't and I need to get a new front bumper anyway, then I'd prefer the Top Secret lip. I'll let you know as soon as it arrives.
