Default HWY 120 to Yosemite

Went up to Yosemite the other weekend. Took Hwy 120 round trip from the Bay Area. It was an awesome drive with lots of twisties. I was lucky to encounter only a few slow moving vehicles along the way. On a straightaway coming back, I overtook some cars while going about 120 when the V1 started beeping, so I tucked back in with the slow traffic. About a minute later, a CHP cruiser was approaching from the opposite direction.

I think I will visit Yosemite a few times this summer.

Sure sounds like you had a good drive. I'm always looking for new roads to check out. Kind of a haul from where I am though but it would be ok for a weekend getaway.

And add about 2 more hours from where I live. A little far for a day trip.
