Sorry to see this happened to your car...but i am glad you didn't run over the dog. I'd feel like **** if I had to choose running over a dog vs. crashing my car. Seriously, you've gained some good karma. Something good will probably happen to you later. Buy some lotto tickets. ;D

 

insurance is taking care of everything......i find out tomorrow if they salvage the car and cut me a check or not

Wow, that's a lot of damage for only 20 mph! Good thing there were no humans on the median. I brake but never swerve for animals...
Sorry to see the carnage, I know how it feels. Seems like every time I've had car trauma, it's when the car is nice & clean.

always hit the animal. you hit it and then wreck its a free repair. if you miss it and then wreck you front the deductible and the mark on your driving record.

 

i guess its instinct to swerve when your about to hit an animal. i mean, you dont WANT to hit anything, and when something jumps out like that...its natural to swerve. just be glad your not hurt and you didnt hurt other people. i mean, a car can be replaced without too much trouble.

 

ya i wish i just hit it...........but o well......i didn't get hurt, the dogs alive, and the insurance is taking care of everything........

 

So got the call from the insurance today..............totalled out the car...............now I gotta decide on what to get......
