Car Audio, Video Installers?
Where's the best place in the Bay Area for custom car audio/video installation?
I really want to add a DVD/navigation system and a new stereo.
But I know that requires a lot of custom work, and I want it to look good. Anyway, whatever information you can post is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Well, I just had a system installed by http://www.customexotica.com here in Mountain View, and I'm quite pleased with their work. They sponsor this forum so I thought I'd give 'em a try.
I supplied a pair of MB Quart PSD 216 for the fronts, MB Quart DKD 116 for the rear, an Alpine 320 amp, and a JVC SH99 headunit. They supplied a Alumapro 10" sub and built a custom sub enclosure for the stock sub location behind the drivers seat. They installed it all, and I'm quite pleased with the work they've done.
Oh, and it's at least worth stopping by their showroom to see their Z8, Lambo Mercialagioaiigioaoigoiaiogioaoio, and Ferrari 360 Spyder (I think that's what it is). *Beautiful.*

$800 for everything. Probably not the cheapest (considering I supplied the speakers, amp, and HU), but they did supply the subwoofer and build an enclosure, and I'm not sure I'd trust just any shop to build me an enclosure.
Erik was my primary contact there. He was a pleasure to work with.
My only quibble is they aren't open weekends. I didn't want to have any work done until I had a chance to check them out in person, and I work nowhere near Mtn View. Luckily I took a day off a few weeks ago to check it out in person.
You *can* schedule an appointment to have work done on Saturdays (which is what I did).
