Default need a bay area body shop to install vertex front bumper - help :)

So I got an aftermarket bumper (vertex) and the current body shop thats fixing my car quoted me 500$ to just install/paint the thing, saying that it doesnt fit at all and that they would prefer not to do it.

Anyone have this bumper and have fitment issues?

Anyone know of a bay area shop that can do this job cheap?

Thanks!

There is an old saying ... You get what you paid for

In my guess your Vertex front bumper is not an authentic Vertex? Is it a replica?
Well, either way not alot of body shops want to deal with fitting an after market bumper.
As far as cheap goes ...
You could always go stop by some shops in International BLVD in Oakland?
As far as good dependable job with a decent price goes ...

You could try:

1. Brooks Motor Cars
9829 Bigge St.
Oakland, CA 94603
510.632.8901

2. Williams Auto Body & Paint
1001 S. Railroad Ave.
San Mateo, CA 94402
650.572.1800

3. M&S Collision
125 Minnies Circle
Milpitas, CA 95035
408.946.6626

Good Luck

These guys told me they don't do aftermarker and prefer not to..
1. Brooks Motor Cars
9829 Bigge St.
Oakland, CA 94603
510.632.8901

They said that they do fiberglass but can't promise a good paint match.. weird...
2. Williams Auto Body & Paint
1001 S. Railroad Ave.
San Mateo, CA 94402
650.572.1800

They said they can do the job... going to go with them.
3. M&S Collision
125 Minnies Circle
Milpitas, CA 95035

I'm not an expert on every bumper that was made in the Z after market industry, But that gap part don't sound right?
Give Intense a call or someone with a Vertex front.

oh boy, just got a call from ms body shop.. they said the paint match went good... but the body line is off near the bumper to the fender

what does that mean? They say its flush where the fenders meet the bumper.

I got a bad feeling... Also they said the wheel well flap won't fit on this new bumper thus dirt will get up into my car..
