Default Dealer won't reply. Where to take my car for maintenance?

Hi guys, my z is now at 2200 miles and i was told that i should get my first maintenance service done. I tried to contact Hayward Nissan where I got my car from but for some reason no reply...weird...my dad got a new Toyota around the same time i got my car...his dealer sends him cunpons and stuff all the time but my dealer never sent me anything. My question is where should I take my z for maintenance service if not my dealer...can i take it to other Nissan dealers (even i did not buy my car from them)? Please let me know if you know any good places that is not over the top expensive and close to Fremont.

Thank you!

LOL..you don't need an oil change at 2200 miles bro. I think you are just a bit over reacting. Wait until you hit 3k miles and just buy your own oil and bring your car to a local gas station to have the oil change. Thats what i do to ensure proper protection to the engine. I do not trust Nissan Dealerships with my car, other than the major maintenance required.

you do it yourself at a gas station or you let 5.15 an hour gas station workers do it for you?

Is there any bay area Nissan dealerships that have a Nissan quick lube service on site?...we have one @ Nissan of Elk Grove . Fast and easy, you do not have to bother service for appointments.

At least 5.15 an hour mechanic will not forget to put oil in your car and an oil cap back to where it belongs. Do some search and you will find many horror stories regarding dealership mishaps.

I use a local maintenance shop that I trust for oil changes, etc. Then go to Nissan dealer for major service such as at 30,000 miles.

Any dealer shop will be happy to help you.

Thank you for all the helpful advices guys! I will wait a bit before i get my oil change. I'm probably not gonna do it myself (may just buy the oil and take it somewhere to have it changed). I'm not as handy as some of you. >.<

I love Mazda's but it is true you need to have a Great mechanic that you trust to work on Mazda's especially rotary engines...In Socal there are lots of Mazda tuners...Mazda Trix, Racing Beat...but in NorCal it is hit and miss to find any Car specialist/mechanics of any sorts that I completely trust.

You are absolutely right. Up here in Norcal, there aren't enough tuners or shops that are good enough to tune our cars, aside from the obvious, Zcargarage.
