noob here, does anyone know where i can get a 30k tune-up done in the bay area?

i read through the sticky regarding shops, but none that mention a tune-up but rather repair and modifications.

would the 'repair' listing of shops be sufficient?

or better, can anyone recommend a place in that list or not?

i suggest Z Car Garage San Jose, CA they do services there, Rob's a cool guy, no pressure into anything there.

 

which part of the bay?

i used to like to go to falore nissan in sunnyvale. they had great service and reasonable prices

 

ahh i think the sunnyvale location would be better, but it's a bit far..

as in the bay area, though, anywhere between san francisco and san mateo.

 

I would be willing to do the service for you. I manage a Volvo and Toyota shop in berkeley but do quite a bit of work on the side. Let me know if you are interested. I would be using all Nissan Parts, I am ASE certified and do all the work on my Z.

 

what is needed to be done for a 30k tune up?

 

30,60,90K Services
$380 this includes, spark plugs, air filter, brake fluid flush, power steering flush, automatic/Manual transmission fluid, diff fluid, oil change. If you have an intake no air filter change is needed. Spark Plugs are recommended every 90K but I reccommend 30k so its your choice.
