go to americas tire or some other tire shop.. Who ever put it on last time must have cross threaded the lugs so when they break them off it gonna break the stud too. so you will have to get two new studs and lugs.

sorry for the bad news

So what you are going to do is just take a breaker bar(long bar with socket on the end) turn it till the lug and stud snap. Do you have aftermarket lug nuts or factory? If you are in the Berkeley area you can stop by my shop and I will get if off for you. Let me know. We can try and remove it without breaking it but might want to stop by Nissan and pick up a few Studs, and Lug nuts.

^^Agreed. I promise you I can break a stud, with relative easy, with my 3' breaker bar. Force over distance = TQ FTW.

if you have enough clearance with you wheels, try using a torch with a very directed flame to heat up the lug nut.

Wow torch and aluminum wheels with clear coat. Would not recommend that unless you want to buy a new wheel. Just break it off with a breaker bar and replace the stud. Its not hard to do and any shop can replace it for you.

Then again, if he wants to break a stud off, a lil' angle would help to cause shear failure across the stud's diameter.

i would suggest, for breaking purposes, a 90* push in the plane of the strut. if you want to still try and thread it off, 90* about the spline axis would be great. for a combo, scotts is your man

or if you want a good workout, try 10*

yea i have after market lugs. when i use the tool for the lugs it strips the tool or just breaks it. Do i need to use the tool with the breaker bar? i ask because if might break the tool. I'd much rather pay and have someone else do it because of my schedule, but its a flat that im trying to get to. Maybe i can get it towed to ur shop. What is it called and where.

Its a little spot on Mac Arthur and Mission in oakland. i had to go there when i first got my wheels. Big O and all the big name places said they couldn't put my wheels on because they were new, and could be held liable if "new metal didn't take to the car".

Impact wrench would probably get the lugs off without breaking the studs.
