Im not sure if he's done many Z's or not but he fixed my subaru from a pile up and running great again. i would trust him on my car over any other place. his name is Paul. Located off taylor rd. in roseville, right on the roseville/rocklin line.

Shad (owner) was previously comptech's lead mechanic and responsible for their CART series cars. At any given time in his shop you can find NSXs stripped out to be rebuilt from the ground up for the purposes of compteting at the top levels of SCCA road racing. I got a chance to spend some time talking to a couple of the owners of those fully prep'd NSXs and they give glowing reviews of Shad's work. The story's they tell are entertaining as hell too.
I've talked to Shad about 350Z's before and he will feely admit that the extent of his experience is supercharging one a few years ago. That being said, if you can set up CART cars and NSXs for high level competition you can certainly hook a Z up.
It helps that he is a friendly and personable dood that genuinely cares about delivering top notch service. He's helped out alot of my S2000 owning friends and they've all had positive experiences.
I got nothing but respect for that guy.

I have one day off a week and would rather pay for someone to do things to my mistress. i also wanna stick with a shop because i will be having them do alot more installs to the ride i.e. stillen supercharger kit, big brake kit, etc.. awsome
hey yall, just an update from Driving Ambition. I went there today to get those spark plugs put in. I must say it was one of the best experiences ive had with a shop. I have had MANY cars and been to MANY "specialists" but none have compared to the knowledge, experience, and most important, service that i received from Bob and Shad at Driving Ambition. I am a very picky guy when it comes to whom i let work on my car. And i must say i felt very confident with them. They also let me watch and get close to the car while they were working on it. That gave me a more personal experience. They understood how much i love my car and i appreciate that they made me a part of it. I can go on but to save myself from rambling Ill just say this, two thumbs up and 5 star shop. I will definetly be going to them for everything i do to my Z
