installation of an amp, or any other car audio work, if not properly done, CAN cuase failures in the car, drilling through a stock harness or coponent, tapping off hte wrong thing...cna cause issues, shorting out stock components.

what exactly did you get installed and where?

Mods on suspension were the ones that are listed on my sig. Also how long ago did your tranny get replaced, cause he has only been the manager for 3 or 4 months. Did you have any mods on your tranny (aftermarket fly wheel)? If you did and he replaced it you got lucky. I know the guy before him was cool and did warranty work even if it was modded. It could be that they are slow on sales and money is tight right now

I have an amp in my car too. I don't understand how it could cause the car to pop a code... Anyone wanna fill me in?

Wow, I can't see why some braces would void a suspension warranty. I got the tranny replaced the first time, and had them put in JWT flywheel/clutch. Then the tranny died again, and he put in a new one even with the same JWT flywheel/clutch. No problems yet *crosses fingers*. He remembered I had the flywheel/clutch, but him and I both knew that wouldn't cause syncro failure, and he didn't have a problem giving me a new tranny.

Didn't even have to argue once there :\
