Ed...dents...gone!
My wife just bought a 1994 RX-7 and while it is in overall fantastic shape, it was littered with little dings from getting banged around in the previous owner's garage for the past 16 years.
I happened to remember that Ed used to do some paintless dents days for this group a while back and he did not disappoint. Luckily he's here in Foster City so I was able to drop the car off in the morning and at the end of the day the car was good as new.
Ed did a terrific job with the car, there were many many little dings and I don't see a trace of any of them. So for now at least, my wife is banned from driving it to any of the local foster city shopping centers/dent magnets.
He was very honest with me that I could probably find someone to do the work cheaper, but I can't complain about the quote he gave me. I am very very happy with the quality. If you have questions I'd definitely recommend giving him a call. Ed Van Dine, 650-222-5582.
I don't have any "before" pictures. Just imagine, you know...small dings and stuff.

-* I highly recommend this shop. Great quality and also great pricing
-* They specialize on most makes and models working
-* My time attack vehicle has been serviced at this shop for the past 2 years and they based off personal experience, I can highly recommend them if you need anything basic as an oil change or anything as advance that has to do with race set up such as suspension tuning, and track specific preparation of your vehicle.
-* They are also authorized dealers for most of the know performance parts manufacturers

would anyone happen to know a machine shop that can resurface the dual mass flywheel? i understand people say they can not be machined. they can be resurfaced with proper jig and tools.

My brother reversed into a fence pole...smh...I read awesome reviews about this shop on Yelp, so I gave them a visit and got a quote for the repair. I received GREAT customer service right away and met the owner, David. He provided a very fair and honest estimate for the repair. I dropped it off on a Monday and picked it up on a Friday. He even provided me with daily updates via fb with these pics! Here are the before and after pics. I'm definitely ganna do business with them again, since they also do parts installation as well. I highly recommend Diamond Auto-Body!

Sacramento area Roadster owners
Lately I have had some issues with my convertible. There are a few places locally that will replace the top, but I could not find anyone that would look at the mechanics of the top operation. I ended up taking it to the dealer who said they called in their "convertible expert" that recommended essentially, replacing everything. They said the top frame needed replacing because it was bent, all motors needed replacing, straps, switches, everything but the top itself. They gave me an estimate of $8000...seriously?
I found a place in South Sac on 5th Street, Canvas Experts. The owner is Steve, and Shawn is the one who initially looked at my car. He pointed out what he thought the problem was so I left it with them. They replaced the actual top (it had a tear), replaced two straps that were disconnected, replaced the toggle switch, adjusted some of the micro-switches, aligned (not replaced) the top frame and adjusted the top struts. All of this for less than $2000.
Yes that still is a ton of cash for a 10 year old car, but after the time and effort spent at the dealer and the fact that I want the top to WORK, it was worth it to me.
Anyway, that's my story. I highly recommend Canvas Experts.
