this meet should be fun, driving around laguna seca a couple days ago i was like we should have a meet here spend a couple hours and drive around the track? if anybody knows how much they charge we should really do this, i think it would be fun and exciting seeing a bunch of Z's going fast..

 

A note: February 14-16 there's a ZONC "Hearst Castle" Meet. A couple of us have talked already, thought maybe the group here might want to go down together. Quinn, myself, Gabe (NSX) talked. It's on another thread I got stickied by our good friend "moderator". So check it out. If anybody else is interested, note on here and I'll start a plan up on times, etc. through ZONC. We could go down Sat morning and return Sat evening, which is what some of us did last year. It was a fun drive down, we had a blast... So let me know.

They had a track day just after xmas,I wanted to attend but I had a bachelor party to attend to in SF so YOU KNOW WHERE MY MONEY WENT(looks around for wife) But I did stop by the track last week and there was a GTR being babied around the trackand then I seen a silver Z with bronze 5zigens rims hauling ***,I never heard a VQ at full wail before at laguna but it sounded amazing

I vote: 831Z or 831Z'ers, but after all we all are I consider a "special group. ..Z's, G's, Marines,and other body else that wants to hang with us, not matter what type car they have (well sports car anyway). I have a friend here with his G35 and he may be hangin' with us too, although he just got laid off as so many others. I visited with him last Friday, as I was off work.

 

Just have to say a lot of these guys in salinas thinks there Z is hot **** always pulling up to me and trying to race me and swervin all crazy, thats the kind of guys I DONT LIKE lol, Im just cruising along and one was tailgating me so i switch lanes...so does he, I speed up...so does he, I'm like damn theres a time and a place for that jackass. ARG just ranting

Hey brandon did you sell your rims yet??if not will you be rocking them to the meet? I want to see them bad boys in person.

 

I know it, every time I see you same thing, I speed up then you speed up. The last time when we did the 210 mph, I thought you were going to get out of 2nd gear once... Especially down North Main St....
Actually, my wife and I run into the evo's and they try to mess around, I really think it might be the young generation that's checking out their ride. I made friends with a couple that way, and they came by the annual run last Sept to say "hi", they would have joined us except they were on lunch hour and couldn't get off work. But all types of cars seem to do that here and on the HWY be either 101 or 1. It never amazes me anymore.

 

I seen a evo today trying to show off his blow off valve...woopppdedoo you have a blow off valve venting to the atmosphere and that means those young punks lol,hey warren I didnt know you hit 210mph in your Z lol

I did have a run in with a couple of the great tt's and my wife will vouch that it was not a problem with the wanna show off type, but also I meant a pretty friendly nice guy after the little zip. I just can't believe how they have to do that. I am a "on cruise" driving person and going for the gas mileage 99% of the time. But the other 1 %, ohhh yeahhhhh....

 

Sometimes BOV/engine-reving just is like saying "what's up" though too.

Anyways, why don't some of you Monterey Bayerz come out to the real bay for a meet this Saturday. :P We're going to have a BBQ and I'm sure some of you have seen the thread so drop in and eat! Cheap gas, free food... what other incentives do you need? Sorry I can't guarantee scandalously clad women. I can guarantee better weather than Monterey though.
